Shocking how this “expert” speaks to one trying to retain him. Thanks to Jeffrey McAdams wasting my time it’s too late to retain an attorney. No doubt he’s made my landlord very happy . I tried to ask him a question on leaving to which he ignored me but very pleased with himself happy to inform me “ A Yale professor wants my advice” and started dialing the phone.
August 09 · NI made it clear to Mr McAdams I wished to retain him for my landlord tenant matter. I made it through 2 consultations with McAdams for which he demanded cash.He refuses to answer questions and becomes irate if one tries to speak. Upon exiting, with the intention of still trying to hire mr Mcadams, he gave me a fact finding mission with one of the agencies. It was very specific, and when I said I'll need to write this down, he exclaimed " NO!!". umm, what?He may as well be working to help the landlord.Maybe this bizarre temperament is appealing if one is watching a modern day dramatization of Sherlock Holmes, but not so much when you are in jeopardy of losing your home, trying to retain an attorney, who instead of instilling confidence in his skills, he displays this shocking temperament- not my idea of one of "the good guys" - you know the lawyers who only represent tenants. My case is clearly being thoroughly vetted and QUALIFIED by him, thus far to the tune of $800 in cash I've handed over- meanwhile I still need an attorney so I don't lose my home. You have wasted my time, and money and would NOT qualify as one of the good guys IMHO.My phone dinged and he insisted I turn it off, yet proceeded to field no less the 3 calls during our paid consultation (on MY dime).
August 09 · NJeff McAdams and Phil Katz were fantastic! After a miserable time with another lawyer, I was recommended to Jeff. He took on a difficult situation with professionalism and thoroughness. Both Jeff and Phil were always available throughout the process. Every issue was dealt with immediately and completely so that at all times I was confident that both my case and I were respected. If I ever need further legal assistance, I will return to this law firm knowing that if they can resolve it, they will and that if it not in their purview, they will lead me to the right specialist.
March 13 · Deborah CohenMr. McAdams came highly recommended, but was more concerned with collegiality than solving problem. He refused to turn over documents and then resigned when I did not want to take a deal to leave an apartment I am still in. Now the state is suing that same apartment and I paid him to basically screw me.Not only that while I was professional he proceeded to use foul language out of earshot.Don't be fooled. This is not a moral man.
