She served as a knowledgeable and supportive guide, answering our many questions and ensuring all necessary steps were taken. March 24 · Ariel TaylorMy husband and I were looking for great representation to handle a relocation claim for my husband to move to Georgia with me, due to me being stationed here. However, him and his son lived in Tennessee. We read great reviews for Ms. Christina and thought we made the correct decision coming to this firm for help. Once we arrived, we were partnered with Ms. Leslie instead. Everything seemed to be going great until the day of court. To make this review straightforward, I'll list everything out that went wrong below.1. She reminded the opposing attorney to appeal our relocation claim instead of letting it fall through (which there may be a reason behind, but we're not sure)2. We sent tons of files proving that my husband had been the primary parent for my stepson since the separation of him and the child's mother, i.e. pick up and drop off messages between the two parents, proving my stepsons mother only had him on weekends, holidays, and school breaks) None of this was brought up in court.3. We sent proof that my husband and I were the only ones helping with my stepson school/homework when he was on the brink of failing, i.e. screenshots of phone calls between me and my stepson when I would help him from home because I wasn't in town, screenshots of emails between me, my husband, and his teacher discussing my stepsons progress and concerns in class, screenshots of the messages that my stepson mom would send only wanting a finished photo copy of his homework, and his phone call log showing where his mother never called through the week. This was never brought up in court.3. We sent screenshots of my husband being denied some weekends and holidays with my stepson. This was never brought up in court.4. We sent screenshots of husband being the primary financial supporter for my stepson and my husband's mother. My stepson mother lied and said she never received payments from him and my husbands mother was the primary financial support. The only thing that was brought up was the purchase of a bed my husband bought my stepson for his mother house, nothing else.5. We sent screenshots of my husband's sister children being taken care of by my husband mother, her being my stepson's mother private investigator, and her disrespectful ways towards her mother showing that she isn't a good role model to my stepson. We sent this after it was confirmed that she would be a witness for my stepsons mother. The way our attorney approached this situation was so poorly presented that the judge didn't even let her finish. It seemed that she didn't go through the screenshots we sent her for my stepsons aunt because the approach had no angle. She just sat all the screenshots down in front of her with no questions.5. Lastly I sent her my travel history of traveling to and from Tennessee while pregnant, proving that my time there decreased the further i got in my pregnancy. We also sent my appointment dates showing they were scheduled when my husband didn't have his son. We sent this because we knew that my stepsons aunt would lie about my husband leaving my stepson in Tennessee. This wasn't brought up in court. My stepsons mother lied about everything. We felt helpless because our attorney had proof going against every lie they told, and just sat there barely asking anything. And when it was all over, our attorney said "we can't predict they'll go in there and lie." Even though we told her they would and sent everything she needed to fight for us. We were let down. I also want to mention at the end of court, the judge ruled that due to my stepsons mother and her attorney not coming up with a parenting plan, they would have to use ours once my husband moved. Court was October 30, 2024. My husband moved November 24, 2024 when I went into labor, the year 2024 is coming to an end, and we still have no signed parenting plan. My stepson is living with my husband's mother instead of living with his mother. They teamed up to get child support from my husband out of spite and got it.
