The York County District Attorney's Office, as the chief law enforcement officer of the county, is mandated by law to handle all criminal prosecutions in the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They are tasked with protecting the rights of victims while also firmly protecting the rights of the accused. The office processes approximately 8,500 new adult cases each year and is also involved in juvenile delinquency matters, criminal investigations, and appeals. This demonstrates the wide scope of their work in maintaining public safety and well-being in the York County community. The current District Attorney for York County, Tim Barker, who assumed office in 2025, has highlighted public safety, community well-being, and fairness and justice as his three key priorities.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a joke, this has been the most dishonest, disgusting, disgraceful group of liars I have ever had the chance to be around. How they sleep at night knowing they have lied and cheated our community? Mind blowing!! Justice is not true American justice at the York county district attorney’s office no it is not. I hope one day that the justiciary system at the York County District Attorneys office would do what they are supposed to be doing and protect the people of York county instead of destroying and tearing down our community. That’s probably never going to happen because of the rotten group of people working for the district attorney.

May 05 · Debbie StrausbaughSo I called today and I’m pregnant and also got assaulted outside my baby doctors office, well I called and was explaining the situation to the lady who answered the phone and she started laughing, I asked what was funny and she’s like well I was laughing at you but anyways.. and my wife called back to speak to a supervisor and get her name and she refused to give me any information or talk to anyone. Idk what was so funny about a pregnant lady getting assaulted. But that is NOT right!! And I will not let this go until I talk to a supervisor and make a complaint.
