Winder & Haslam: Falk Jennifer L Introduce
For individuals and businesses across the Salt Lake City and wider Utah region, finding a legal partner with a broad range of expertise is often essential. Legal challenges rarely fit into a single category, and a firm that can handle multiple facets of a case is a valuable asset. Winder & Haslam, with attorney Jennifer L. Falk, presents itself as a law practice with a diverse portfolio of services, designed to address a variety of complex legal matters. The firm's practice areas span from business and commercial litigation to intellectual property and personal injury, offering a seemingly comprehensive solution for many legal needs. They aim to provide professional legal counsel and representation to help clients navigate the intricacies of the legal system. However, when selecting an attorney, it is crucial to consider all available information, including client experiences, to ensure the firm's approach aligns with your expectations. The relationship between a client and their attorney is built on trust, and a firm's reputation for clear communication and effective advocacy is paramount. Winder & Haslam's broad scope of services is intended to make it a one-stop-shop for many clients, allowing for continuity in legal counsel. They handle both proactive legal work, such as contract drafting and estate planning, and reactive matters like litigation and dispute resolution. The firm's focus on a diverse set of practice areas suggests they have a generalist approach to law, which can be useful for clients with a variety of legal needs. Their goal is to provide competent legal services to businesses and individuals alike, helping them protect their interests and resolve conflicts. They present themselves as a capable legal team ready to assist with complex legal matters and offer solutions to their clients' problems.
The office of Winder & Haslam is conveniently located at 460 S 400 E #100, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, USA, placing it in a central, accessible part of Salt Lake City. This location is designed with client accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These amenities are a positive aspect of the firm, as they demonstrate a commitment to serving all members of the community without physical barriers. The central location also makes it convenient for clients who may need to visit local courthouses or other legal institutions. For the benefit of both the firm and its clients, appointments are recommended. This standard practice allows the legal team to prepare for your specific case and ensures that you receive their full, undivided attention during your consultation. The office environment is professional, providing a suitable space for confidential discussions about sensitive legal matters. The combination of an accessible location and a client-friendly scheduling system shows a commitment to providing a professional and thoughtful service from the very beginning. The firm's location and accessibility features are important factors for potential clients to consider, as they can make the process of seeking legal help more manageable and less stressful. The ease of access, along with the recommendation for appointments, suggests a well-organized practice that values both its time and its clients' time. The firm aims to provide a welcoming and professional environment where clients feel comfortable and respected, which is a crucial part of building a strong attorney-client relationship.
Winder & Haslam, with attorney Jennifer L. Falk, offers an extensive list of legal services, showcasing a wide range of practice areas. This broad scope is intended to provide a comprehensive solution for various legal challenges faced by individuals and businesses. The services they offer include:
- Business and Commercial Law, including Business Contracts, Commercial Contracts, Commercial Leases, and Partnership Law
- Litigation, including Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Class Action Lawsuits, and Trial Attorneys
- Intellectual Property Law, including Copyright Attorney and Intellectual Property Laws
- Real Estate Law, including Commercial Real Estate Attorney, Title Insurance, and Due Diligence
- Estate Planning, including Wills, Trusts and Estates, and Estate Planning Attorneys
- Dispute Resolution, including Alternative Dispute Resolution and Conflict Resolution
- Personal Injury Law, including Personal Injury Attorneys, Premises Liability, and Product Liability Law
- Other areas such as Employment Law, Environmental Law, and Pro Bono Legal Services
This wide array of practice areas suggests the firm has a generalist approach to law, which can be useful for clients who may have interconnected legal needs. For instance, a client with a business might also need assistance with real estate or estate planning. By offering all these services, the firm aims to provide a one-stop-shop for legal solutions. The firm's ability to handle both transactional law (like contract drafting) and litigation (trial work) is also a key feature, indicating their capacity to guide a case from start to finish. However, a generalist approach can also mean that they may not have the same level of deep specialization as a firm that focuses on a single area of law. It is important for potential clients to consider this trade-off when deciding if this firm is the right fit for their specific and perhaps highly complex legal matter.
When considering Winder & Haslam, it is important to look at the features and highlights that are available in the public data, including client reviews. The firm presents itself as a versatile legal practice with expertise in a wide range of areas, from business litigation to intellectual property and estate planning. They offer physically accessible facilities, including a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, entrance, and restroom, which is a positive feature for clients with mobility issues. They also recommend appointments to ensure a dedicated consultation. However, the provided customer reviews present a starkly negative view of the firm's services, specifically regarding attorney Jennifer L. Falk. The same negative review is listed twice, which suggests a consistent, and potentially widespread, issue with the quality of service. The client claims that they were "promised a lot" but that the attorney "did absolutely Nothing to help me" during a divorce case. The review also includes a highly unprofessional anecdote where the attorney allegedly told the client their ex-husband was "handsome" and that they should "get over it." The client goes on to state that they had to fight for everything on their own and that the attorney's negligence "caused a lot more problems and made my life a lot harder." This review directly contradicts the firm's apparent professional image and its stated goal of providing effective legal assistance. The review's final lines, "I wish I knew this information before I started my divorce. Hopefully this will help someone else," are a clear warning to potential clients. These negative experiences are a significant feature of the firm's public reputation and must be taken into careful consideration when evaluating their services.
To contact Winder & Haslam and attorney Jennifer L. Falk, you can visit their office at 460 S 400 E #100, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, USA. The main phone number is (801) 322-2222. For mobile users, the number is +1 801-322-2222. As mentioned, the firm operates on an appointments-recommended basis. This is a standard professional practice intended to ensure that you can have a focused and private consultation about your legal matters. You can use this contact information to inquire about the firm's services, ask questions, and schedule a meeting to discuss your case. It is important for clients to have clear and accessible lines of communication with their legal team throughout the entire process. While the contact information is readily available, the nature of the reviews suggests that potential clients should exercise caution during their initial consultation. The client reviews highlight a concern about unfulfilled promises and a lack of support, so it would be wise for any prospective client to be very direct in their inquiries and to get a clear understanding of the firm's approach and expected outcomes during their first meeting. The firm's location in downtown Salt Lake City is convenient, and the accessible amenities are a positive, but the provided client feedback indicates a potential disconnect between the firm's advertised services and the actual client experience.
What is worth choosing Winder & Haslam? Based on the available public data, it is difficult to recommend this firm without significant reservations. The firm's broad list of practice areas and accessible office are positive points, suggesting a versatile and client-friendly operation. However, the provided customer reviews from a divorce client are highly critical and raise serious questions about the quality of representation provided by attorney Jennifer L. Falk. The review details a pattern of negligence, a lack of professional support, and behavior that is completely inappropriate for an attorney-client relationship. The client’s claim that they had to do all the work themselves and that the attorney’s actions made their life more difficult is a major red flag. For a legal professional, especially one handling sensitive and emotionally charged cases like divorce, trust and competence are non-negotiable. The review directly states that the attorney "did absolutely Nothing" to help the client. When a person is in a vulnerable legal situation, they need an advocate they can rely on, not someone who adds to their problems. The duplication of the same negative review emphasizes the severity of the client's experience and serves as a strong warning to others. Therefore, while the firm may present itself as a versatile and capable legal partner, the concrete feedback from a past client suggests a significant disconnect between their stated goals and the reality of their service. For any Utah resident considering this firm, it would be prudent to proceed with extreme caution and to seek additional, more positive references or to consider other legal options entirely. The negative review is too severe and specific to be ignored, and it speaks to a fundamental problem with the professional service provided.

Winder & Haslam: Falk Jennifer L Reviews
I normally don't leave reviews but I wish I knew this information before I started my divorce. Hopefully this will help someone else. I was promised a lot when I first met Mrs. Falk so I hired her. During the divorce she did absolutely Nothing to help me. On one occasion she told me my soon to be ex husband was handsome and I just need to get over it. Anything I received from my divorce I fought for on my own. Because she left things out of the divorce and didn't assist me she has caused a lot more problems and made my life a lot harder.

April 20 · CarolI’m sad to make this review but she ruined my life. Her bio at the time described her as a women’s advocate but while she represented me, during mediation, she said to me, “You’re still young, you’ll find someone who’ll take care of you.” I was 55.I can’t help but think that because she believed I was still young enough to find someone who will take care of me that she didn’t fight. She didn’t explain my options nor did she pull for me. I was in a 30 year marriage and received much less than 1/2 of the assets and no retirement or alimony. When I hired her I explained that I needed special help. I explained that I didn’t know what I was doing and I couldn’t think straight. I explained that toward the end of the marriage he was twisting truths to me and others and was trying to talk me into killing myself. He was clinically diagnosed as a narcissist and I was distraught trying to unravel his web while trying to pull myself together. In the beginning of the marriage, my former husband pressed me to forego my education to support him through college and the first part of his career so he could develop himself as the main bread winner. I basically helped him develop his ability to sabotage me. I’m afraid he kept me subservient to have the upper hand in a time like this. This isn’t that uncommon and a family law attorney should be prepared to help her client to the best of her ability against the least or worst of these monsters. He made $1,000,000.00 a year and was consulting on the side. He left claiming he had PTSD, which was never confirmed. He said that because of his PTSD he’d never be able to work or be in a relationship again. While gone “recovering from PTSD,” he met with attorneys and researched information to derive an elaborate plan to hide assets. When the time came, he left me destitute and set me up to fail. I’ve been scrambling ever since.Had this attorney fought as she should, my life absolutely would have been less arduous, as it should for the 30 years support I gave this monster to ameliorate his earning and power he has used to hurt me. When I asked for her and her firm’s help telling them I had information I found that showed he had perjured himself in discovery, they refused. She was then with the same firm she was with when she represented me but a different form than the firm she is with now.Just months after our divorce he married a young woman who could pass as his daughter. He established at least one business, one he was working on while still married but didn’t claim, within days after the divorce. They’re living in a big beautiful home on an acre and in an affluent neighborhood with beautiful views. They recently purchased $100,000.00 boat and travel often. I’m 60 trying to hold together dilapidated rentals by a thread, working as a handiman, landscaper, and hustling junk to get by. I can’t afford the elaborate vacations they take nor can I afford to buy things they buy for my children and grandchildren. 30 years...
