This was my second time partnering with Victoria on real estate transactions, and I’m so grateful she represented me both times. When things got ‘weird’ and the unexpected happened in each transaction, I was thankful and relieved to have her on my team and side!! Victoria represented me in 2021 when I bought and in 2025 when I sold the same house. When I bought in 2021 during the walkthrough we discovered water in the basement, and she advised me what could be done legally at that point of the transaction. When I sold the same house in 2025 after a bidding war, the first buyer backed out unexpectedly, the second buyer created home inspection nonsense, and two weeks before closing the local town officials raised a zoning issue with the driveway that they didn’t raise in 2021 when they cleared the house for sale to me. Despite making made NO changes to the driveway footprint in the four years I owned the home, the town created more hoops we all had to jump through to hit the closing date, and we did hit that closing date! There were several times during each process when I asked Victoria to explain the legal ramifications of each step and decision. She took the time to explain things to me in plain English so I could make informed decisions, which was so helpful and assuring. Apart from the legal advice she gave me, she provided emotional support along the way when things came up unexpectedly. She saw me as a human, carrying the weight of the transaction managing contractors and town officials, and integrated her legal advice with human empathy. For all the back and forth we went through on the 2025 transaction with the buyer, contractors, and town officials she should have billed me by the hour rather than charge me a fixed fee.
