When considering an attorney in New York City, it's important to weigh the pros and cons based on your specific needs. Tiffany Ma, Esq. presents several compelling reasons why she might be the right choice for certain clients, particularly those dealing with employment-related issues. The firm's specialization in employment law is a significant draw. In a legal landscape as complex as New York's, having a lawyer who focuses on a specific area can be a major advantage. This specialized knowledge can be crucial for navigating the intricacies of wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage disputes.
Moreover, the firm's location is a practical benefit for anyone living or working in the city. Being centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, with easy access to multiple subway lines, makes consultations and meetings much more convenient. For busy New Yorkers, this accessibility can save valuable time and reduce the stress of travel. The positive review mentioning the firm's ability to "manage expectations" and its dedication to making clients "whole" suggests a focus on results and a pragmatic, client-centric approach. This can be very reassuring for clients who are feeling overwhelmed by their legal situation. The positive feedback highlights a strong commitment to advocating for the client's best interests.
However, it is also important to consider the critical feedback provided by other clients. The reviews that mention a "rude" communication style, inconsistency in advice, and "pushy" behavior are significant and should not be overlooked. One review also points to a federal court admonishment, which, while not a final verdict on her capabilities, is a detail that a prospective client should be aware of. The concerns raised about communication and trust are particularly important in an attorney-client relationship, which relies on a foundation of mutual respect and clear understanding. A potential client should be prepared to address these concerns during an initial consultation and determine if the attorney's communication style is a good fit for them. The advice that there are "so many extremely good attorneys" in NYC is a fair point, reminding clients that they have a wide range of options and should not feel pressured to work with any single firm without a thorough and honest evaluation. Ultimately, the decision to choose an attorney should be a personal one, based on a comprehensive assessment of all available information, including both positive and negative feedback, to ensure the best possible outcome for your specific legal needs.

Great at managing expectations. This firm will do everything possible to make you whole.
August 21 · Kayla BinnsUPDATE: If you want to work with her be aware that she has been admonished by a Federal Court in the JESE Apparel LLC case , this shows you what type of lawyer you are dealing with. This is the worst experience I ever had with a lawyer. She was recommended, I was her client. To be fair I will talk about pros and conspros: she did her job, she sent a letter as requested and I paid for it.cons: this lawyer is very rude to clients. At the beginning she is very supportive, all emotion and good vibes. Tiffany Ma one day tells you one thing and the next day tells you a completely different story, it was very hard for me to trust her. When you pay your bill and decide that you don´t want to work with her any longer, all the problems start. First she is extremely pushy suggesting youthat she is the best lawyer and your new lawyer cannot be as good as her (extremely hard to believe), she actually sent me 3 emails being extremely pushy, over the edge. Second step she was trying to scare me off with a potential lawsuit that she previously said there is no chance for that to happen and obviously asked for a lot of money in advance, money that I told her several times I do not have. She does not even want to talk to my new lawyer using any kind of excuse, obviously Tiffany Ma won´t ever be recommended by me as an attorney.Just keep in mind that in NYC there are so many extremely good attorneys so you don´t have to stick to her.
