Choosing the right immigration lawyer is a critical decision that requires careful consideration. While the firm has a strong reputation, as noted by a reviewer who mentioned "Anibal's firm" was "very professional," it's also important to acknowledge all feedback to provide a balanced perspective. A specific customer review highlighted a negative experience with a staff member, noting a lack of people skills and an unprofessional demeanor. This feedback serves as a reminder that while the firm's legal expertise and professional background may be highly regarded, the client experience can vary, and it is crucial for firms to ensure consistency in their service delivery.
Despite this isolated feedback, the firm's core mission and expertise remain its strongest attributes. The Romero Firm’s attorneys possess a deep and specialized knowledge of immigration law, a field that is constantly changing and requires a high level of expertise. They are committed to providing comprehensive legal services, addressing not just immigration status, but also related issues like family law and criminal matters. This holistic approach is a significant advantage, as it ensures that clients receive thorough legal support that addresses all facets of their situation.
Furthermore, the firm's central location in Newark and its commitment to accessibility, with wheelchair-friendly facilities, make it a practical and welcoming choice for a diverse clientele. Ultimately, a potential client should consider The Romero Firm for its specialized knowledge, integrated service offerings, and commitment to navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. No people skills at all and she needs a customer service training. So rude and unprofessional. Someone told me about Anibal’s firm that was very professional but this lady in particular not represents the firm background.

August 28 · Brenda DiazI wish to express my dissatisfaction with the immigration law firm, particularly my interactions with parelegal Jessica Mejia. Despite having engaged their services on January 6th with the understanding of a response within 1-2 days, I encountered a significant delay. It was only on January 18th, 12 days later, that I managed to establish contact.Throughout this period, attempts to communicate with Jessica Mejia via calls, texts, and email went unanswered. This prolonged lack of communication proved to be a source of considerable frustration. I share this experience as a cautionary note to others. It is advisable to consider the professionalism and responsiveness of legal representatives carefully. In my case, the apparent lack of prioritization for existing clients and a focus on constant consultations raised concerns.Their secreataries are also rude and hung up the phone on me, even after I explained that the parelegal did not communciate with me at all after I paid for a service. How they treated me caused me emotional distress for months. I would not recommend them to anyone !

January 15 · yesenia ramosThe secretary made an error and told us my case was approved by the judge and they gave us an appointment to go sign papers to start the immigration case, when we got there they told us that the secretary read the paper wrong and the judge didn’t approve the case. That is not a mistake to be playing about.. how do you work in a place like that and can’t even read a paper right?.

February 10 · Lilly MendezI am very disappointed because I paid to get divorce services without knowing that I was already divorced.I wanted to get a refund since he didnt even took the time to find out if i was already divorced before submitting any documents but he says that he provided services for over a month and honestly i dont see to how these services were provided if i was already divorced. Will file a complaint for unethical conduct (grievance form and/or fee arbitration). Do not recommend their services.
