I have had several encounters with attorney Ronald Justin while accompanying my mother-in-law to court, and unfortunately, his conduct has been far from professional. He is frequently late and, on some occasions, does not even show up to court.On one particular occasion, after the judge refused to rule in his favor, he completely lost his composure. He began yelling at me personally, saying, “What are you looking at? Don’t look at me! You have a problem?” His behavior was so inappropriate and aggressive that the sheriff had to escort me to the elevators for my safety.This was not even my case—I was only there to support my mother-in-law—yet I was subjected to his outburst. In my opinion, such conduct is unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable in a court of law.

I had a profoundly unsatisfactory experience with Law Office of Ronald Justin, which I feel compelled to share. Despite my numerous attempts to engage in meaningful discussions about critical details and seek clarification, I consistently felt that my concerns were not taken seriously or prioritized.Throughout our time working together, I diligently provided a multitude of supporting documents for my case through both email and in-person meetings. However, during our discussions, the lawyer repeatedly claimed that he had not received these documents. He often deflected responsibility by attributing the problem to the work of his paralegal, which felt more like an excuse than a valid rationale. This persistent breakdown in communication was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling increasingly unsupported.In an effort to ensure that my lawyer was adequately prepared for court, my girlfriend even attended his office as a witness when I handed over the necessary paperwork and resent the emails. Despite these efforts, on the day of the court hearing, he arrived with none of the required documentation, which was profoundly disappointing and concerning.Additionally, I reached out via email to seek clarity regarding the charges associated with my retainer. I wrote:“Good afternoon Ronald, the amount being charged— is this coming out of the retainer? I’m having trouble understanding where the additional charge of $462 is originating from. I had previously paid the $2000 retainer and would like to receive written confirmation on how this will be utilized, along with a receipt for the payment.”Regrettably, he never addressed my inquiry or provided any explanation regarding how the retainer would function, leaving me bewildered and anxious about the financial aspects of my case.To make matters worse, just ten minutes before the court proceedings commenced, he had the nerve to ask if I had brought any copies of the documents with me. Following the court’s denial of my motion, he failed to advocate for me and simply acquiesced to the opposing arguments. When I inquired why he chose to remain silent and arrived unprepared, he informed me that he wished to withdraw from my case entirely.Additionally I am currently facing an alarming situation with harassing calls from debt collectors regarding a supposed debt of $2,000 owed to his office. The issue is compounded by the fact that I have never received any description, itemized bill, or statement detailing this balance. This lack of transparency is not only frustrating but deeply concerning.Despite my attempts to clarify and understand the nature of this alleged debt, I have not received any documentation that outlines what this charge pertains to. It is unacceptable for collectors to pursue payment without providing clear evidence of the debt, including what services were rendered or products provided.The constant calls feel invasive and stressful, as I am left wondering about the legitimacy of this claim. I have repeatedly asked for an itemized statement and proper documentation, yet my requests have gone unanswered. This situation has left me feeling overwhelmed and anxious.It’s essential for consumers to be treated fairly and with respect in these matters. Without proper communication and documentation from the creditor, I find it hard to understand why I am being pursued for this amount.I urge anyone in a similar situation to document all communications and request written proof of any debts being claimed. I should have guess based on the attempt to contact the Law Office of Ronald Justin would have been the indicator of the experience that was to unfold. Once contact was finally established, and prior to hiring Ronald, he reviewed my family law case to evaluate if he had the capacity. He accepted the case, stating his plan and what could be done. All documentation was provided to him, evidence, timelines, organized and complete. That was a year ago, and there has been little no no movement on his part. I should not have to send certified mail to get an update, or a return phone call after weeks of reaching out and being met with silence, or complete disregard for my inquiries. Furthermore, as other reviews have advised, he used the excuse of a paralegal he was considering terminating because they were the cause of the ball being dropped on numerous occasions. His failure to be diligent and communicative allowed mistakes to occur in the court room, and allowing orders to go through against my wishes, because "he didn't see the email", and again blamed another party for that error. After three weeks of sending emails for updates on my case, and items he claimed more than once would be filed "soon", unreturned phone calls, and a court date he not only did not show up to, but did not communicate he would not be present for, and had another associate who I had never met, nor had any insight on my case, fill in. I issued a deadline for his response, to where I received an after hours phone call informing me he would be withdrawing from the case after, three weeks of silence. The withdraw is not the issue, as that was the plan with the expectation that his false promises of delivery wouldn't be met, further neglecting my case. It's the lack of professionalism and the lack of accountability for his consistent failure to provide legal counsel. This will result in filing a complaint with the bar, and an investigation to ensue. I would not recommend this office for anything that requires court appearances, time and accurate communication, or if the lives of your children and yourself are dependent on his performance.
