What is worth choosing
Choosing a legal professional is a deeply personal and critical decision that can have a long-lasting impact on your life and the lives of your family members. When considering a law firm, it is vital to look beyond a simple list of services and consider the firm's approach to client relationships and the specific expertise they bring to the table. The Law Office of Lynda L. Hinkle is worth considering for New Jersey residents due to its focused expertise in key areas of law and its local presence in the community. The firm’s comprehensive service offering means that clients can address a variety of legal issues under one roof, creating a more cohesive and efficient legal strategy. Whether you are dealing with a sensitive family matter or a complex estate issue, having a single point of contact can simplify an otherwise complicated process.
However, it's essential to approach this decision with careful consideration. The public information available, including client feedback, should be part of your due diligence. While the firm lists a wide range of services, it is always a good practice for potential clients to conduct their own thorough research and, if possible, speak with multiple attorneys before making a hiring decision. This allows you to compare not only the types of services offered but also the fee structures, communication styles, and overall client experiences. An attorney who is a good fit for one person might not be for another, and understanding how a firm operates—from billing practices to client communication—is a key part of finding the right match. The fact that the firm has a physical location in a prominent part of Woodbury and provides accessibility features like a wheelchair-accessible parking lot demonstrates a commitment to serving a diverse clientele.
Ultimately, what makes a law office the "right" choice is a combination of professional competence and a client relationship that fosters trust and effective communication. The Law Office of Lynda L. Hinkle’s focus on specific areas of law, such as family law and estate planning, suggests a depth of knowledge in these fields that can be invaluable. However, every legal case is unique, and the best way to determine if a firm is a good fit for you is to schedule a consultation and ask detailed questions about their approach to billing, case management, and client communication. Making an informed decision is the most important step you can take toward a positive legal outcome. For those in the Woodbury area of New Jersey, the firm provides a local option for addressing a wide array of legal concerns.

The Law Office Lynda L. Hinkle Reviews
I hired Lynda in January 2019 and fired her in October 2019.Lynda is over-zealous when billing clients. My divorce was just finalized and I emailed Lynda asking for a partial refund. She offered me a measly $200.Her paralegal completed the CIS (Case Information Statement), Answer, and Counterclaim for my case, which took maybe a few hours of work. The opposition created the Marital Separation Agreement, and Lynda only reviewed it, and missed simple things that other attorneys typically automatically include. I paid $3675 and she requested another $3100 for a fairly simple divorce, no kids, no property, no alimony. In total that is almost $7000! Understandably, each case is different, but mine was one of the simpler ones. My divorce was held up by 2 bankruptcies, which required nothing but waiting. Lynda's reasoning was that it took 9 months and that I should be billed $3675. Why was I paying fees for simply waiting? We had not even met with the opposition yet and she didn't have to file any motions.I initially requested $1650 back, but then re-reviewed the billing statement and revised my request to a $1150 refund and she still refused, sticking to her $200 refund offer. In speaking with other replacement lawyers, they often rolled their eyes and said good thing you fired her! Lynda had the gall to call me an extortionist when I told her that I was going to write truthful (bad) reviews online. LYNDA is the extortionist. Lynda resulted to name calling because she knew she was wrong. She is completely unprofessional and lies in attempts to cover her tracks. Her office staff was nice, but I would highly recommend avoiding this attorney unless you have money to burn. She will bill you for EVERYTHING!When I posted 1 online review on Google, Lynda responded by saying "I am sorry you didn’t communicate with me as much as you have with the Internet about me...because one of the key things that helps make cases less expensive is when clients communicate with the office most effectively and provide all information requested." She then emailed me that she had 98 emails concerning my case. 98 emails vs 1 bad review does not show a lack of communication as she asserts. Furthermore, I did supply all requested documents in a very timely fashion as I am always glued to the Internet. As another example, she insisted that I paid $3650, when her own billing statement showed the correct amount of $3675 that I had actually paid. I know it's only a $25 difference, but it goes to show you how she lies or is completely uninformed.Lynda did not have much personality and was like talking to a brick wall. I am well educated and have worked with many lawyers in my time. This lawyer is one to avoid for sure!
