The law also protects from retaliation employees who participate in investigations into their employer’s alleged discrimination, harassment, or other unlawful actions.Your employer violates the law if it negatively or adversely impacts your employment as a result of your registering a complaint even if your complaint ends up being unfounded. April 28 · David KI can’t recommend Sid Gold highly enough. From our first conversation, Sid was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Employment contracts are intimidating and negotiations are very stressful. You want someone who genuinely cares - like Sid - on your side and fighting the whole time. He took the time to really understand my situation, answered all my questions, and explained all my options clearly so I never felt in the dark. His dedication and instincts gave me peace of mind. My livelihood mattered to him. I can’t thank him enough for that.Sid is also highly professional and honest - qualities that are rare and invaluable. I could go on and on. Just call Sid - you won’t regret it!
July 23 · Keith JonesMr. Gold was kind enough to give a consultation at gratis about a contract negotiation. He was upfront, responsive, and very helpful. I appreciated him taking time out of his work schedule to read the contract and give feedback. Will definitely come back for legal assistance in the future.

He is supportive and knows how to make any situation more manageable. I felt he is truly on your side and invested in achieving a positive outcome. I would recommend him hands down.
May 08 · Manish Thapar*EDITED TO ADD* I have never met someone so unempathetic and rude to someone in a multiple hardships for no reason. I was referred to him since the lawyer I originally used to review a severance I was uncomfortable with did not do a contingency fee and since I lost my job, plus she was not familiar with other things involved. From the moment I spoke to this man, as I was in tears and just lost my housing due to unlawful termination, he was extremely rude, showed zero sympathy and repeatedly was condescending and had zero interest in hearing all other details of my case of documented mobbing, retaliation, harassment, disability discrimination and more. All he cared about was money money money- as he repeatedly stated that "its not a lottery ticket" and that I was being unreasonable for what I was asking. Said I was only there 2 years so thats nothing, and when I corrected him to 3 years he said "yeah whatever same not long at all." Apparently I wasnt so unreasonable, since I ended up getting what I asked without his help, but he made sure to mention about 10 times that he would be taking 40 percent. Even cut me off multiple times and said that me losing my housing is nobody's problem but my own... Blunt is one thing but condescending rude and nasty is another, and he even told me to find another lawyer before proceeding to then ask if I would accept a different amount. My focus was trying to save my housing that was urgent and health/legally dependent, not the money, so he obviously didn't care. When I reached back out to follow up and see if he would ask for a higher amount so I could pay him the 40% he was demanding since I now had extreme loss and pain/suffering added and got no response. Glad he didn't honestly, just a nasty and unnecessarily rude man who is all about the money he can get, not helping people. Not only did Sid only reach out 3 weeks later ONLY immediately after this review pretending to suddenly care and offer to help write a demand, but when I responded that it was resolved he continued to harass me by sending multiple emails stating he allegedly never saw my emails because he was out of town, asking personal info about my housing, and then basically tried to convince me but in a semi-demanding way that he just saw my review and "Can we agree you take the review down, thanks" to which i politely responded no thank you as this was my true experience with someone who was purely disgraceful and disrespectful to me the entire time. I don't care if you are a lawyer, it does not make me less than you and the way you treated me was outrageous and deplorable. Only to today recieve an entire denial letter emailed to me from his office stating he would not be representing me in the matter I had already stated was resolved. Very unnecessary and petty, this man is NOT professional at all. I would reconsider working with him unless you're okay with being talked down to, shamed, and being just a dollar sign to him.
