Gifted attorney lacking time for cases. Ms. Bellantoni is handling a case to which I was a party seeking a preliminary injunction. We discussed filling suit separately for damages in the last week of February, 2024. We talked over the phone and agreed the suit would be pushed back for filing until March of 2024. Ms. Bellantoni informed me she had many upcoming due dates for filings and that we would file suit in late April to early May, 2024. We continued discussing the pre-existing case over the following months and I would inquire about suit for damages. Upcoming due dates continually pushed back filling the second suit. Come May, 2025, 15 months later, I determined it was not worth stressing myself over it and informed Ms. Bellantoni I no longer wished to pursue damages. Very gifted attorney if/when suit is actually filed.

Let me first say Mrs. Bellantoni did exactly what she said she would do. Before I called her i did what most people do, I searched around for an NY attorney who was familiar with 2nd Amendment cases. I seen both positive and not so positive reviews, but I scheduled a phone meeting with her and several other attorneys. After our conversation and giving her my case details I sent her the retainer fully confident she was the one I needed. I was seeking to get a certificate of relief from disabilities, with the hopes of restoring my gun rights from a 2006 non violent gun possession offense. She was able to successfully obtain the certificate and I never had to leave Michigan. The key here is she always made every step clear, responded to my emails and provided clear options if needed. Communication is a two way deal with your attorney and after this lengthy process I am completely satisfied with how she went above and beyond for me! We agreed on the fee and possible additional fees and that’s exactly what it was. She never changed or altered it.

Amy Bellantoni and I began working together May of 2021 with a permitting application. She worked very hard over the course of 3 years for me. After an initial denial and our appeal the permit was granted. A true success. Through the process Amy kept me informed of what was going on and always responded when I reached out to ask questions. Her answers were always direct, clear and consice. I'd give 10 stars if it let me, phenomenal attorney and I will always be grateful for her going to bat for me. Thank you Amy !

Simply put, Amy is a class act and an excellent attorney who genuinely cares about her clients and that their rights are secured and protected. The first Lawyer I went to was an, "Expert," in the field of law I needed guidance in. He tried to rob me, end of story. Told me my case was hopeless, I had to pay him thousands of dollars to go through a process where there was no guarantee of success. I was going to give up, it just was not worth it, neither financially nor emotionally. Spoke with Amy, told her what he told me. What he told me was simply not true. There was a way to find out if it was even necessary to go through the aforementioned expensive process. That my case was not be hopeless and that we had to do a simple check with the state to find out. Documents provided, letter sent to state, Amy gets back to me 3 weeks later and guess what? No need for expensive, exhaustive, byzantine process. I could not have been happier. If you need a great attorney, who is a great person as well, look no further.
