My experience with Sperling Law Firm was back in 2014 and I had submitted a review on another forum that was as honest and exact as could be. I just ran across Sperling Law Firm and judging by the reviews, seems like same old criminals under a new business name. It is just a shame that people like this are allowed to practice law and present themselves as caring individuals. They might practice law on paper, but their business model from my experience was designed to slowly bleed the client dry. Here is my July 28, 2014 post→"Poor customer service, because you will only interact with an attorney during the initial consultation, where they portray a family atmosphere, after that you will deal with the receptionist, She is very nice, but not an attorney, which explains all the errors in preparing declarations. And yes, the retainer is nothing more than money in their pocket, considering when I asked for a bill summary I received fictitious charges, and overcharges, which later after 3 months of asking for an explanation, were "credited" back to me. In 7 months they took $7000 dollars before I realized they are con artists, and incompetent. We went to court only once, and some attorney I never met showed up to fill in?? The custody declaration had the wrong child's name and court case. It was so embarrassing I couldn't wait to get out of the court room.Serves me right for going against my instincts. Shady doesn't begin to describe their business practice, more like criminals in disguise as caring family law practice."

If you need help with family law, look no further. I've had an amazing experience with this last firm. I hired this law firm to help me with a restraining order. Aree and Lauren were so helpful with my case.What stood out to me was their empathy. During the phone consultation, Aree made me cry happy tears! She gave me so much info and reassurance in just 30 minutes. I felt so relieved that I had a knowledgeable and compassionate firm stand by my side. I didn't have that experience with any other firm (judging by other phone consultations).Lauren took over my case, and I continued to be impressed by her professionalism and her promptness. I can email her at any time in the day, and she quickly responds, even before 8 in the morning the next work day before the office even opens! The dedication to ease the worries of her clients is unreal. She wrote strong letters and arguments supporting my case. In the end, she helped me come to a settlement. Lauren helped me save so much time and money by communicating with my ex. Saved me so much heartache in the long run. I didn't get everything (as expected). Surprisingly though, I got more money back than I thought! I see that as a big win :)I'm so thankful that they took great care of my case. They took my traumatic experience and made it so much easier to handle. I felt so much ease when I gave them my case as I was incredibly nervous to navigate the court system on my own. I wasn't able to sleep or take care of myself before, but since hiring them, I've been able to focus on my mental health. My ex was lying in his first reply to my restraining order before I hired them, but as soon as I retained counsel, he didn't bother to respond anymore! That's how convincing and strong this law firm is. High quality law firm that actually cares about your well-being.YOU GUYS ARE ALL AMAZING :) I can't thank you all enough.

If you choose this criminal law firm, be prepared to lose your case and all of your money, as they fool you into thinking that you will win. I have personal experience in dealing with this law firm and I would NEVER recommend this law firm. The positive y-e-l-p reviews are all internally generated and fake, and the platform hides all the negative reviews. These negative reviews on here are all authentic as it confirms my experience with this law firm.

After leaving a truly unprofessional lawyer, I am SO BLESSED to have retained this firm! They truly care about YOU, and go above and beyond for YOUR success. They will steer you from spending money on something that isn't wise (say, spending 5K to fight for something worth 1K), but will still do exactly as you ask them to. Divorce and family law issues are powered so much by emotion for us (the clients). It's awesome to know that this firm has a level-head and will keep us (clients) from making poor choices out of fear or anger. Will they always tell you what you want to hear? No. Is that good? YES. The laws are always changing, social pressures abound in the courts, and these lawyers know how to maneuver the system and get you the BEST ruling possible. They say a good friend will tell you what you want to hear...but a great one will tell you what you NEED to hear. This law firm is just that--a GREAT firm. Don't be fooled by lawyers that play on your emotions and tell you that they can get you everything you want at some outrageously low fee. That just isn't true, and once you pay the slick lawyer their retainer, you can kiss it goodbye--and expect lots and lots of future bills. This firm will tell you what the reality is, help you avoid unneccesary costs, help you strengthen your case yourself, guide you in making the best choices to present an awesome case, and at a fee that is reasonable. Is it cheap? No...but I can tell you that they have exponentially done more for me at a lower cost than my previous slick attorney. Don't be fooled like I was. Retain these guys!!

Read the review by Elle E. in YELP - Her experience reflects exactly what happened to me with this lawyer.YES, they will send 2+ lawyers to court to kill your retainer ASAP. In my case, they made me draft pages and pages of responses which were never used in court. All I saw was the bill.My case dragged for a couple of years, and during that time they sent unprepared lawyers to court who reviewed the case the day of the hearing!One of these lawyers even started cracking jokes with the other party's lawyer while a serious negotiation was taking place. Needless to say there were horrible errors in that order due to their lack of attention. I had to learn things the hard way.A couple of times they "omitted" telling me important information which then came back to bite me in the ass.After spending several thousands, anything I got was because I hustled my way through. I got my own evidence, I was the one bouncing ideas, I took the initiative. All they did was draft docs, send 2 lawyers the day of my initial hearing, and kill my retainer.And just for anyone reading this .. when you have a hearing you may spend 3-4 hours in court: 1 hour waiting outside and chit-chatting with these lawyers, 1 hour actually going inside the court room and then being sent outside to negotiate with the other party, and 1 hour to file anything and have a final chit chat with them.I wont disclose their actual hourly rate but picture this.. the average hourly rate for these services with any other lawyer is around $300-$400. If they send 2 lawyers (I have no explanation as to why you would need 2 anyways) that's $1800. This is horrible considering they very much prefer to settle things out of court, while cracking jokes. Talk about piece of mind!They even charged me for "allegedly" having internal meetings which would occur when their main lawyer couldn't attend himself, and they would "brief" one of their spare lawyers. SERIOUSLY? - And despite these briefings I would be the one briefing my lawyer the day the hearing? WOW!I now have a 5-star, yelp-reviewed lawyer on my case, who was in complete disbelief about the fact that despite all the evidence I have, my case is still going. I am very close to a satisfactory resolution, all due to my new lawyer.Save yourself some trouble and instead yelp a lawyer. Look at the reviews, you'll be glad you did.
