I know Lisa is deep down a nice individual; However, Lisa should show more empathy to future clients and not force them to pay previous employees too quickly just to get the claim out of the way and get paid. This law firm gives you no choice but to accept fault and cut out a check to bad employees.If you discuss anything verbally with this attorney, make sure you have it in WRITING or they will not keep their word later on down the road.If you are stuck in a stressful employment related matter, know that Lisa's fees are at least $20,000 if you case is simple and does not take long to settle. Also, know that you need to allocate another $20,000, at least, to pay to settle a claim. That is if you do not go to trial. By case being simple, I mean the attorney will send a couple of emails to opposing law firm and plug your name into a settlement template and BAM that's $20,000. More importantly, you should know that this law firm WILL NOT represent you in a trial should your claim continues to trial. All in all, no matter what anyone tells you, just know that you need to set aside at least $40,000 to pay this law firm AND your previous employee to settle a simple allegation claim. If your case is more complex, you need to plan to pay more than $40,000.
