I owe my life to Mike schaff. By far THE BEST criminal lawyer in Riverside. In my opinion. He is meticulously dedicated to his clients wishes, hopes, and needs. He gets what he wants and (he.is well known in the legal community as a meticulous litigator) and if he the DA doesn't give it to him, he will fight for it. I was in a lot of trouble due to being young, dumb and Immature. Mike stood at every court date w me, and in the hard days he stood in front of me to shield me. I will forever be indebted to Micheal Schaff, he is a competent and experienced lawyer who will fight for you and get you out of trouble. Also he is a great friend if ur ever so lucky to have him. (Side note; he accepts payment plans but just make sure you pay him. It will definitely be worth it I promise you that..)

Did nothing in almost 18 mos, 6 weeks before trial date to be he has an "emergency hearing" and cons me into subbing him off with promises of orders to still be filed and a referral for a new attorney. He did not return my file from Octo 23 until Jan 24 after hounding his office relentlessly.

I met with the attorney who promised me my matter would be resolved within 2 court appearances and will resolve the matter with the other party for $2850.I paid the attorney an after that did not received any updates. I started calling the law office anywhere from 2-13 times daily. No response for weeks.The day before my trial, Mr. Shaaf called me into the office for an "Emergency meeting" and had me tell him everything that we already discussed at the consultation (billed me for it). He told me he was going to settle the matter at the for MSC, but never did.He ended up making the matter worse by telling the judge he wants a TRC, and then talked my ex-wife's mother, no even my ex wife, and asked her what she wanted for her daughter. It was totally uncalled for and I lost all trust in the attorney. After leaving the court house, he told me to call him next week if I don't hear anything. He never called me.!!!I started calling the office again multiple times a day for the course of 30 days.Two days before the TRC, he told me to come in on a Sunday, my trial was on Monday, for an "Emergency meeting" . Again, went into the office and had to explain everything all over to him again and then he tells me "I CAN'T SHOW BECAUSE I HAVE A CRIMINAL TRIAL IN BANNING, I NEED YOU TO ASK THE JUDGE FOR A CONTINUANCE". ( He charged me for coming into the office)>I was very upset, I had to ask the judge for a continuance. The deputy in the court room even stated "You need to hire a new attorney, what are you paying him for"?. I called the law office, and explained the new TRC date is a month and a half out. She made note and told me Mr. Schaff will contact me. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM! (Charged me two hours, he did not show).Took nearly 2 weeks for him o contact me and then he tells me "You and your wife need to work this out" I explained to him again then why did I hire you and why did you take on my case?" The following week, I did not hear from him again. I then told the office Mr. Schaff if terminated from this matter.He has caused me more stress, insecurity, depression, and anxiety. I've lost so must money because I'm still supporting my ex-wife and she shes still driving my vehicle. I truly felt robbed of my money and can not believe he could do this to someone.Mr. Schaff even charged me stating he was at court for 2 hours on he day he did not show and I had to ask for a continuance. He claimed he was at court but the court recorder documented he was not. His sectary also charged me $7.50 for every phone call I made. Never was written in the retainer fee contract. He's a criminal, not an attorney. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
