Mr Goldman was polite and professional during a very stressful time for my family. His handling of my garnishment was painless. It was not his fault NJ Class recalled my loan. It surely was immoral by the State. Enough of that. Years later my home closing was canceled one day before it was scheduled. WHY? NJ Class loan showed still open. NJ State was NO HELP. My wife called Mr. Goldman who contacted NJ Class, got payoff info and FILED A RELEASE WITH THE COURT IMMEDIATELY! This copy that took 1 hour saved my closing which would have been lost the following day fore ever! Mr Goldman is a gentleman. He had no obligation to help us and received NO compensation.I do not know how to thanks him!

February 26 · Mike WhiteDear Russell P. Goldman, P.C. 121 HWY 36 Suite 130 in West Long Branch, NJ...It is quite a shame that you had refused to settle my college loan because I was 900.00 Short; I offered 23,000.00 and the debt could not get paid because 900.00 was going to make or break you and your establishment, and NJ CLASS LOAN - yeah ok (***sarcasm inserted here*** Now I understand, I have a responsibility to pay back my loan that has gone into default;I had paid my loan for several years, and there is no student loan forgiveness program for people that fall on hard times - due to almost a-less-than jobless economy; losing my mother, and having a sick father; but lawyers are not in this for sob stories, forgive me, for I digress. In this day in age, when there are more student loans versus jobs/careers, its so sad that law/business ethics could not close a deal to erase debt, for such a little gap. I would believe your client rather be out of the 900.00 today than wait another ten years to get the principle paid off... But in this case, the cliché rings clear :that "ripping off your nose to spite your face" is the suggested thing to do. At this time, you might have to wait another 10 years or so before this is paid off in full, for due to new laws passed by OBAMA - only a small percent of wages can be garnished which will not even pay off the annual interest. One would think, if one is truly representing their client (*NJ CLASS LOAN) this would be in their best interest... They could have seen the principle of the loan in a week - in which Larry Erp was pushing me to get the check written by the end of the month - perhaps so whoever can make their monthly quota to close accounts... However, now this will be delayed another ten years - Kudos for that (*sarcasm inserted here...) The cosigner, my father, who is a disabled Vietnam Veteran, his health is not the best, and will not be able to assist me in paying off the loan in the next ten years - logically speaking... So you can keep reaping our taxes - once again - that will only pay interest -not principle. I hope, Mr. Goldman, when I go back to school for law, that I have more ethics and intelligence than what was demonstrated on behalf of Larry Erp at your establishment. It is such law firms, that I wish not to work for... that put the stereotypical word SHARK associated with the word lawyer. Although to show you I am not completely unfamiliar and inexperienced with GOOD LAW AND PRACTICES, I can give a great example of how an ethical law firm works. I am more than happy to say that Schibell, Mennie, & Kentos, LLC as a perfect example as to how an ethical law firm can practice great ethics when the chips are down, and still assist a client. After all, logically, I would believe a good law firm should have more developed negotiating skills than a ice cream man selling popsicle sticks to children on a hot day... Perhaps you will handle future accounts more professionally. Thank you for pretending to meet me in the middle, and good luck with the continuation of your "practice."Most Sincerely,Loretta M. Gorini
