What is Worth Choosing This Firm
Choosing an attorney for sensitive matters like tax issues or estate planning requires a great deal of trust. While the firm's website highlights its commitment to client-centered service and expertise, it is important to consider all available public information, including client feedback. Provided reviews for Quantum Law, LLC show mixed experiences. One client, for example, expressed a strong negative opinion, stating that they "provided no support" in a dispute and were unresponsive to calls and emails for "weeks." This individual felt they had to work "harder to talk to her than the insurance company" and would not recommend the service.
This feedback, which is repeated in the provided information, is crucial for a potential client to consider. It points to a potential issue with communication and client support, which are critical elements of a positive attorney-client relationship. While a single review may not represent the overall experience of all clients, it highlights the importance of thorough due diligence. It would be wise for any prospective client to use the recommended appointments to assess the firm's responsiveness and communication style firsthand.
On the other hand, the firm's stated mission and credentials remain a powerful draw. The unique combination of legal expertise as an attorney and a financial background as a CPA is a significant advantage, particularly for matters involving tax and estate planning. This dual qualification could potentially lead to more comprehensive and efficient solutions, as it removes the need to consult with separate professionals. For someone with complex and intertwined legal and financial needs, the promise of a single point of contact who understands both sides of the issue is highly appealing. The firm’s specialization in areas that are often interconnected, such as business formation and tax laws, also provides a streamlined experience. While the negative feedback is a vital consideration, it also underscores the importance of a personal consultation to see if the firm’s approach and communication style align with your expectations. For those in Maryland seeking a knowledgeable professional who can provide both legal and financial guidance in tax, estate, or business matters, Quantum Law, LLC’s unique skill set makes it a firm worth investigating further.

March 07 · Jeff LindhurstShawnielle apparently is paying to have negative reviews removed about her law firm, because I reported her on here and with the American Bar Association for unprofessionalism, and not performing the work I paid her $1100 for. I found her through MetLife legal services on my former job. She talks a.good game, but was clearly in over her head on a complicated probate dispute with my siblings over my mother's estate. I attempted to have my sister's tenant evicted from.the property. Shawnielle shows up to eviction court with dickies on, which would not stay up on her behind, so you could see the crack of her rear-end! She had me sign the probate documents at that tenant refuses to vacate hearing, but did not even bring a pen! That is like a doctor or nurse being on the job with no stethoscope! Then she wrote the tenant a notice to.vacate letter, with someone else’s information on it,from years ago! When I asked her for a.copy of.the.letter, and pointed out to her how nonsensical it was, and not even REMOTELY relevant to my situation, she quit! Apparently, she downloaded a form letter from the internet, sent it to.my sister's tenant as is, without even putting our names on it! I thought it was an error on her secretary's part, but judging from her reaction when I pointed the error out to her, precipitating.in her quitting, it was her own sloppy work. Plus, she filed incorrect documentation on my probate dispute with my siblings,so that case.never moved forward EITHER. She is an incompetent sheister, plain and simple.

October 01 · Adanma OriakuI tried to hire this firm which I found through a legal plan referral and had one cordial conversation with the attorney. But the documents they said they were going to send to open the case and move it forward never arrived. After four phone calls and repeated promises over a week or so, I gave up. They never said they weren't going to take the case, they just ghosted. Not sure what's going on here, but it was incredibly odd.UPDATE: I figured out what happened here. They took the authorization code I provided from my legal plan in which they participate so they could potentially claim even though they did zero work. Reprehensible. Fortunately the legal plan is on to attorneys who do this and she won't be getting a dime.UPDATE 2024: They are saying today (10/9/2024) more than a year later that they help clients when they provide the documentation. I not only offered the documentation by email several times but reached out to them a dozen times trying to get a response to that documentation. Given the circumstances, I had nothing BUT documentation (tax filings and letters) that I provided. I was asked to send documentation via email. There was no "portal" to upload documents. They weren't that organized. I had to reach out to my workplace benefits office to ensure these people didn't get paid, because the scam was to take the case to get paid by the legal plan but not do the work. My employer and the legal plan made sure that did not happen. She has had all the time in the world to make this right but opted not to. Instead, she wants to respond A YEAR LATER and deflect responsibility for what she did not do. My email address has not changed in more than 15 years and the legal plan I belonged to also had my work as well as home information so the assertion they did not have my correct information is a lie and more deflection. They could not bill the legal plan because I was proactive and contacted the legal plan about the lack of response after they received the authorization code which would have ensured payment if I had not acted first. It is more than evident that this "law firm" has received more than a few extremely bad reviews and for some reason (likely loss of business) is now trying to mitigate long-standing bad behavior. Their attempt to discredit clients who came to them for help but who they failed miserably says a lot more about the character and integrity of this law firm than any posted review recounting bad experiences.

October 09 · K.A. GambrellDO NOT RECOMMEND! EXTREMELY unprofessional & rude. Asked for the same info repeatedly, which proves she wrote nothing down when asked the first time. When asked to spell her name, her response was that I could "get that from the website." She then spelled out her name as Shanyall Perdue. I googled the Law Firm and found that the spelling she gave me was completely incorrect, meaning she straight lied.Long StoryObtained Law Firm info only (no name) from my legal services plan. Contacted the office seeking representation for traffic citations. The woman that answered never identified herself and asked a few basic questions to include my eligibility ID # with MetLife. Woman asked if I had a court date already, which I provided her with and explained that I would need a postponement as I would be out of town. Woman stated that I could file the postponement, or she could. She asked for the details of the incident which wasn't easy to explain over the phone. The woman stated that she wasn't going to be able to assist me as she wasn't available on the date of court. I reminded the woman that I would be requesting a postponement, and her response was that she wouldn't be available the following week either and wouldn't be able to assist me. I asked why she would have me go through the entire incident if she wasn't available on the court date that I provided her with at the beginning of the conversation, and if there was another attorney in the practice that would be able to assist, and she stated that there was not. I asked if she was the actual attorney, which she confirmed that she was. Asked her for her name and she provided it but when asked to spell it, she told me that I could get it from the website. I informed her that I only had the law firms name and asked why she couldn't spell her name. She spelled her name out as Shanyell Perdue. After the call I googled the law firm and found that she provided me with a completely different spelling of her name as the correct spelling is Shawnielle Predeoux. I cannot believe an attorney would want to represent themselves in this manner.

August 07 · Tammy PersellIt took literally 3 emails, and 5 phone calls and I could not sufficiently explain to Shawnielle what it was that I needed included in a cover letter for a tax adjustment form. I called the Tax Entity myself while waiting 4 weeks for Quantum Law to get it together, got the form myself, got the information on what needed to be filed myself, and wrote a sample letter for her. Still couldn't get across what was needed. Highly unprofessional. Avoid.
