★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I approached Quackenbush Legal for help with forming my new business, and they exceeded my expectations. Their expertise in business law made the process seamless. They provided clear guidance and were always available to answer my questions. I highly recommend them
June 11 · Ana Lilia VergaraI was hesitating to leave a review hoping that my situation was going to change for goods. But 6mo+ is more than enough waiting. I, like many other clients, after reviewing other options decided to trust this firm with my custody and child support case and made a huge mistake.Everything went okay until Aug, 2024. I stopped getting invoices and I was told “when that happens is because there’s not movement in the case yet”. Okay well, my lawyer left, her legal assistant with the time left. Second red flag I snoozed. I got a new lawyer to close this case. We had around 2 conversations, a couple emails were sent to and to follow up. Still haven’t received invoices and I questioned the team because I had auto payments and it was still running with no invoices. I like a mother was afraid to stop everything because this is related to my child, the most sacred human I have in my life AND with our money. It caused me so much anxiety, my entire nervous system was getting worse with this situation so unsure. January 2025 came and I was deducted with a higher amount 8 times higher, than what my contract say I need to pay (that was already being deducted). The amount of times of calls to the office that I made, emails…it was unfair and extremely frustrating. I got an answer by March and money was return. At the end of this call I asked Katie if they received all my payments because it’s crazy how this bill grew up and where were the invoices that explained this. She answer “yes we have them all”. I asked when was the last one received which she answered “January $150” I told her I have never made a payment of that specific amount and that card number wasn’t mine. I was shocked all the hours of work I did to be able to pay this money and who has it now. Oh God! She said “okay my computer is giving me problems I will call you with an answer next day before 8/9am.” Weeks passed by, Instead of receiving an email related to my situation or an answer at least to say we are working on it. I got a letter stating this firm will no longer provide services for the type of case like the one I have. No even a week later another bill comes. I called once again and everyone sounds surprised how I client like me (old client) hasn’t been assisted. I was told emails were already sent to Devin (the owner) but this time I was told to call to Utah office and ask to speak with Kurt. I was transferred to another legal assistant when I told her the reason of my call. So I couldn’t speak to him even though he was in office that day. She said she can only take payments and because the due date was THE NEXT DAY she could take a lower amount of payment to avoid the complete amount were deducted from cc. (By this time I already had migraine). Before April ended I received a message stating balance was credited to 0 due to all the changes etc etc I replied reminding her my invoices were still pending because of course like a client need to know what happened with my case, with all these unjustified deductions in my cc and need receipts. A couple messages were sent to follow up and I hate to be on top of someone when I should not be doing it. May came shoot my last email to get information of her assistance or anyone who could help if she was busy. She replied just sending a receipt of my balance in 0 and the invoice of this years. What a nightmare it has been. Came to them looking for a professional, responsible, knowledgeable team to defend me and child….now there’s not day that goes by concern for this. Upset and disappointed to be at their mercy for an answer. All I wanted was a simple answer or my money back. Since I could not have the most important thing here; my case worked and finished.
June 02 · Melanie VelezHopefully I can update my review soon with a better rating/experience with this firm, but so far it hasn’t been looking good. So… buyer beware.I, probably like you’re doing, needed a lawyer quickly for an abusive domestic situation, saw their stellar reviews, liked my first conversation with the lawyer they matched me with (Eric), and moved to retain their services. That’s where things started to go wrong, and I should’ve perhaps read the writing on the wall at that point. My father was kind enough to loan me the initial funds to get the process started, and even them taking his money couldn’t go off without a hitch. Literally. We waited over some 24 hr time period just to get his payment processed. While my and my daughter’s lives were literally on the line in an abusive home that we’re trying to escape from.Eric had assured me that once I sent back my paperwork, he’d be filing the divorce and protective order “by early next week at the latest.” Ha. What a fool I feel like now.I sent in all my docs and info exactly a week ago, today. Lance the receptionist confirmed via email late MONDAY (so a full business day later) that they “had put it all in my file etc.” Ok, great. It wasn’t like I’d sent them the Magna Carta, but whatever. I figured I’d hear from Eric by Tues or Wednesday at the latest.Whelp. Look who’s got egg on her face. It’s Friday. A full additional week has passed.A few hours ago I sent an email to Lance, politely asking wtf is going on and when might I hear from Eric and how to reach management if my case isn’t filed by this upcoming Monday…. And it’s also been radio silence. So literally what started out as a very pressing, emergency situation that I called them on almost TWO WEEKS AGO has now been relegated to the bottom of their proverbial barrel, Eric prob off partying in Wisconsin Dells with the 2500$ my dad gave him!Quackenbush doesn’t care one bit about domestic violence victims or their children, that much is clear. I deeply regret tying my ship/horse/fate to this firm and Eric specifically because of the additional stress and fear that’s been placed upon my heart and psyche due to their disrespect, disregard, and inaction.PS- my infant daughter has Down syndrome, and Eric used his family member with the same condition to especially earn my trust, so they additionally also don’t give a flying fruit about the disabled, specifically disabled infant girl children. Really. Shame on them all.
March 21 · Nicole VQuackenbush exceeded my expectations in every way. Their expertise and commitment to my case were evident from start to finish.
June 11 · Jimena Villa RutiagaScam , buyer beware, thousands spent over 6-5 months they never even served the other party . Would avoid like the plague . Lace was coo
