★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dad died suddenly in 2020, leaving a tangle of confusing paperwork and questions as to who owned his house. My estranged uncle and grandmother claimed that it was theirs, even though it was my widowed stepmother's primary residence. I don't think I've ever been so upset in my life. I never expected a law firm to center me in difficult times but that's exactly what Sarah Hartline did for me. She was clear, calm, smart, and focused on the facts. With every call and document she was laser-focused but personal and respectful of how upsetting this was. As the case proceeded, in a quiet and unassuming way, she was an absolute powerhouse. I was bullied and threatened with every useless legal document that could be found on the internet but Sarah stayed the course and assembled thick binders full of documents detailing every confusing turn in the legal history of my dad's house. She countered every provoking, aggressive accusation with straight facts and precedent. She knew where every single line in every single document in those hundreds and hundreds of pages lived. Going to court was grueling and emotional. I'll never forget Sarah's paralegal coming up to me before the trial and saying "I've had to go through every one of your dad's documents. He was a good man and he loved you. I'm sorry you had to go through this." It meant so much to me. These are good people, and talented, and I felt like they were genuinely on my side at a time when I really needed someone on my side. I would recommend them to absolutely anybody. I cannot recommend Sarah Hartline highly enough, I'm so grateful to her. And we won! It's over and my dad's house is safe. Now I understand why people say in bad times you need a good lawyer.
July 21 · Kellian Adams PletcherTo whom it may concern: - I've been very happy with how Margolis, Bloom & D'Agostino took such good care of us in handling pretty much everything that needed to be done to administer and close the estate of my long-time friend Marc F. Anderson. I was very pleased and thankful to Mr. Harry Margolis for taking my initial call following Marc's passing back in December of 2023 and how friendly, helpful and accommodating he was with agreeing to take on the job of settling Marc's estate. The attorney overseeing the case, Sarah Hartline, and her excellent team of Ilana Abramson, Courtney Sundell, and Eugenia Andrade, were so helpful and engaged and always there to answer any questions or concerns that I had. After initially speaking with Harry Margolis and Sarah Hartline on the telephone, I couldn't have been more reassured that Margolis, Bloom & D'Agostino would handle the settling of Marc's estate in the most professional, courteous and timely manner ... and sure enough they did not disappoint! As for anyone inquiring, I give my highest recommendation for Margolis, Bloom & D'Agostino as to handling one's estate, elder law, special needs and long-term care planning concerns. - Respectfully, Philip C. Restino, CPA - Jupiter, FL
July 17 · Philip RestinoSarah and Illana were professional, honest, and compassionate from start to finish. They guided me through a long and emotional probate case involving my father’s estate, always setting clear expectations and helping me feel supported. Thanks to their care and guidance, we came as close as possible to honoring my dad’s wishes. I’m truly grateful and highly recommend them. Thank you Sarah & Illana.
July 09 · Jill WalesMy experience withMargolis Bloom & D’Agostino was excellent from start to finish. I felt very comfortable. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to postpone several appointments. They were most patient and helpful.I would definitely recommend this firm( Patricia D’Agostino and team)
January 11 · Anne SaundersSeveral years ago I worked with Tricia D'Agostino on my mother's trust and estate matters and found her to be deeply knowledgeable, extremely well versed on changing regulations, and a caring, thoughtful person to work with. More recently I worked with Laura Goodman on trust and estate matters for my brother and I was equally happy working with her. My brother's situation presented a lot of unusual twists and turns. He was the kind of person who had a hard time doing paperwork or keeping his affairs in order. But no matter what new surprise I sprung on her, Laura was never fazed and always came up with good solutions to whatever problem came our way. Like Tricia, Laura is a caring, empathic person, and that makes such a difference when one is dealing with illness and disability, or grieving the loss of a loved one. I'm delighted to give them both my highest recommendation.
