Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC Introduce
When facing a legal challenge, whether it’s a personal issue like a family law dispute or a complex business matter, the need for experienced and reliable legal counsel is paramount. For residents and businesses in Tennessee, Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC, is a well-established and multi-faceted law firm with a reputation for handling a diverse range of legal issues. With a history that dates back to 1882, the firm has grown into a defense firm of national reputation, serving clients from its offices across the Southeast, including its key location in Brentwood, TN. This extensive network and long-standing presence in the legal community mean that clients benefit from a wealth of collective knowledge and a deep understanding of the intricacies of state and federal law.
The firm's philosophy is built on the belief that excellence in legal representation requires more than just a mastery of the law. It also demands a thorough understanding of the specific industries and businesses in which their clients operate. This client-centric approach ensures that their counsel is not only legally sound but also practical and aligned with their clients’ real-world goals. They handle a wide spectrum of practice areas, from complex commercial litigation and mass torts to more personal matters like family law and estate planning. This versatility makes them a valuable resource for individuals and businesses alike, capable of addressing multiple legal needs under one roof. Their vast experience and broad scope of services allow them to provide tailored, strategic solutions to even the most complex legal problems, offering a sense of security and confidence to those they represent.
While the firm is known for its comprehensive services and broad reach, its commitment to individual clients can be an area of concern for some. It is important to acknowledge that a large firm with multiple offices and attorneys may face challenges in communication and client management. While the firm's website and marketing materials highlight a dedication to personalized service, some client experiences, as reflected in public reviews, have highlighted potential disconnects. For instance, some clients have reported issues with communication delays or being passed between offices. However, it is equally important to note that the firm has shown a willingness to address these concerns, with one client reporting a positive resolution after an initial communication breakdown. This suggests that while a large firm structure can sometimes lead to administrative hiccups, the team is ultimately committed to rectifying issues and delivering the legal consultation their clients need. By setting clear expectations from the beginning, clients can navigate their relationship with the firm more effectively, ensuring a smoother process.
For Tennessee residents, choosing a law firm is a significant decision. Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC offers a powerful combination of historical presence, a broad range of legal expertise, and a network of attorneys that can handle a vast number of legal issues. A personal consultation can provide the assurance and peace of mind you need to feel confident in your choice of legal representation, confirming that you will receive a level of personal service that matches the firm's considerable reputation and resources. What is worth choosing Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC?
Choosing a law firm with a long-standing history and extensive resources can be a significant advantage, and this is where Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC, truly excels. Their network of attorneys and broad range of practice areas mean they have the capacity to handle a vast number of legal issues, from complex corporate litigation to workers' compensation cases. This depth of experience and breadth of knowledge is a powerful asset. For a client in Tennessee, this means you are not just hiring a single lawyer, but gaining access to a firm with a collective knowledge base built over more than a century of practice. They have a reputation for being a formidable legal opponent and are well-versed in the intricacies of the state's legal system, which is invaluable for any case.
However, it is crucial to consider the experiences of past clients to form a complete picture. One detailed review from a client named Angela highlights a very difficult personal experience with a specific attorney at the firm, mentioning concerns about being misled, communication issues, and a lack of progress in her case. While this particular matter was eventually resolved with a refund, it underscores the importance of clear communication and setting expectations upfront. Similarly, another review points to a significant delay in receiving a call back, which highlights potential challenges in internal communication and client management for a firm with multiple offices. While the firm eventually rectified the situation, it shows that the client experience may not always be seamless.
Despite these challenges, the firm’s ability to ultimately resolve issues and provide the necessary consultation, as shown in the updated review, is a positive sign. It suggests that they are responsive to client concerns and committed to their professional duties, even if the process takes longer than desired. For potential clients, this means that while the firm offers unparalleled expertise and resources, a proactive approach to communication is key. By scheduling an appointment and clearly outlining your expectations, you can leverage the firm's considerable strengths to your advantage. For complex legal matters in Tennessee, their extensive experience and broad legal scope make them a worthy choice, provided you are prepared to actively manage the client-attorney relationship to ensure your needs are met. Their long history of legal practice and their reputation in the legal community are solid foundations for their continued service to the people of Tennessee.

Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC Reviews
My name is Angela. I feel like I was mislead and taken advantage of by Thomas Dement. This is my opinion I am not an attorney and was only looking to trust the one I thought I hired. I thought he was going to represent me in a property partition lawsuit. He took my money, $1500.00 initially to be exact and strung me along for over 6 months having only written a letter to the other parties involved in this matter. We never moved any further with the process although all the long stated I was ready to head to court and get this done. Into the 7th month he starts requesting more money... that I didn’t really have. Only when I decided to write a letter with text message screen shots, a copy of the retainer letter etc to the firm about his shenanigans did he decided he would not continue to mess over me. Immediately after that I received multiple calls and text messages etc. on how he could now fix this problem... He lets me know he now can’t represent me as he is ill and too busy with a specific case, and NO ONE else in the firm can either...(interesting because I know there were at least 2 other real estate guys in the office) I have now been refunded my money. Yippie! But back to square one. I think Paige at the office signed for the certified letter sent to the office and simply gave it to Mr. Dement to keep everything QUIET. I just want others to know that if you are planning to deal this firm this particular guy is not someone I would trust ever.
February 22 · J HenryI’m a member of an organization that offers legal services benefits to its members. So, I was given a referral to Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, LLC, in my city. I called, spoke with a receptionist or secretary, told her my reason for calling. She forwarded me to a voicemail (or maybe the attorney did not pick up), and I left a message. For whatever reason, my information was forwarded to the firm’s location in another city, hours away. (They have locations in west, middle, and east Tennessee.)The person that ultimately called me, from the out-of-town location, was great! But we agreed that my information would return to the original location, in the city where I reside. (It should have been clear from my area code which part of the state I reside.) This person assured me that someone in town would contact me on Monday.I write this review Wednesday night (2/2/2022). Nobody has called or left a message! Someone could at least have reached out to suggest another route/law firm. But this experience may be a blessing. If my communications are forwarded and disregarded this early in the process…. It’s nice to find an attorney/legal office who makes you feel that your calls are important and that you’re important enough to call back. (Update: It's Friday. Still no call back from this firm. If my case was not one that they'd want to handle, should have said so up front.)(Update #2: An attorney contacted me on 2/17/2022, and I got the consultation I wanted!! At this point, I change my original rating of 1-Star to 3-Stars. It still took a long time for someone to get back with me after I complained. But the attorney was quite alright when he did call, and he's in my area. Maybe they just got tied up, interacting between offices. Weird things happen. Who knows?)
February 18 · jdstep97My attorney was Thomas Dement! He was more than we could ever have expected from a lawyer. He followed through with everything he said he would do. I am more than grateful for you Mr.Dement and would recommend him over and over again!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your research and and hard work on our case! We couldn't have asked for anything more from a lawyer!
