I never received a bill or clear updates on where I stood in my case. I initially chose him because a friend had a positive experience, but my experience was the opposite. The billing was inaccurate, important details were missed, and proper notes were not taken.While it was flattering that he found me attractive, what I needed was an attorney who would show up for me professionally, not personally. He would snap at me when I gave input on the person selected to conduct my mediation—as if I didn’t have a say, even though he had asked. I felt compelled to step in and take charge of my own case. A trusted friend who is also an attorney helped me recognize that he was putting my case at risk. Subpoenas needed to be filed, but they weren’t.Basic questions about how far back to go on financials couldn’t be answered. Notes weren’t taken, and case files were not treated with proper security.I was already going through one of the most difficult times of my life, leaving a horrific situation, and his handling of my case made it 10x harder. My mental health suffered as paperwork was lost or forgotten, deadlines passed, and emotions ran high. At first, I felt heard and supported, but as time went on, it became clear he could not handle the stress of the case. He even scheduled mediation without making the necessary preparations, including subpoenas.I also never received a refund. At this point, I don’t have the mental bandwidth to audit the billing and chase it down, so I’ve let it go—it simply isn’t worth the toll it would take. In my view, this attorney would benefit from taking a step back to work on himself before taking on clients in such serious matters. Divorce clients are often exiting dangerous situations and need strong, competent representation—not someone who risks furthering their trauma.Overall, I would not recommend him—what began as hopeful quickly turned into one of the most stressful and disappointing professional experiences I’ve ever had.

This firm is 1 attorney. Web site isn’t available. Dragged out a indisputable solid case against 2 company’s who intentionally destroyed real property in July 2023. When negotiations failed 3 months ago, he Wouldn’t start a complaint to take action in a court settlement as I instructed him to take it to court. It’s probable treble damages will be awarded.In the 6 months when he took on the case, not 1 statement was ever sent, even asking for multiple times. Upon termination he milked the entire retainer fees. I asked what refund I would be given on last call. A week later sent an invoice dated 16 days before it was sent. Not the type of attorney I was expecting.

I wish more Attorneys were as sincere, dedicated and knowledgeable Alan Stewart. To this point in my case, Alan has had every ruling working in my favor. Having the original case dismissed all together. Mr Stewart did everything in his power to do all he could beyond his regular practice as he felt deeply that I was wronged. Alan spent countless hours working on my case and keeping in constant contact. I felt as though Alan took the time to help me understand every piece of the process and ensured every step was according to legal procedure on my end. Alan's attention to detail saved me from my exes attorney falsely filling a motion to strike when he by law had no right to do so at said point. This resulted in the opposing parties having to pay a portion of my attorney fees. I highly recommend Alan, he is honest and will not take you for all your money. I wish I had found him earlier on in my case.
