★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Currently doing cases for Cambridge at Holiday Park … these are the most corrupt, unprofessional attorneys ever.Unfortunately my husband and I decided to agree on what they were offering after we had incurred legal fees, court fees, and late fees from a Master’s association NO ONE told us at closing (went to our lawyer and she went over all of our papers that were given to us and also agreed that there was no sign of a Master’s Association) so unfortunately we went with a couple years of not knowing this and NEVER received any invoice or letter stating we had a balance until we got served with Lawsuit Papers… (what a coincidence). So to not add more to our balance we agreed on what they offered which was to deduct late fees and allow us to put our balance on a payment plan (which of course they ALSO charge you just to “see it through”) whatever I guess.Agreed & Signed papers BEFORE our next court date to avoid those extra court fees which they told us if we agreed to it prior to court date we wouldn’t have to pay those fees.. fast forward to 6 months later my husband is sick of paying this every month and wants to finally just pay ALL of it since he can, so I wanted to confirm with their office first what’s the balance. I’m still keeping a close eye of the checks we have sent and the balance we SHOULD be at after the payments we’ve made. But you can’t be too careful with these people.. and tell me why I was right?Balance is way off and of course it’s more than it should be. I ask them to explain why is that… so apparently “court forgot” to put the dismissal order in and they still had to appear in court so they had to charge us the extra court fees which AGAIN shouldn’t have been our responsibility since we agreed and signed prior to our court date which they made clear if we did, we wouldn’t have to pay those fees.. and on top of that, as I did the math and continued to go through the statement cause it was still not adding up.. the Late Fees Deduction was NEVER put in our account and still owed apparently… so not only do they love to charge you fees you’re not responsible (and of course without giving you a notice/invoice whatsoever) for but they think it’s okay to break the agreement by not deducting fees that should have been deducted from the very beginning. And all of this in hopes that we don’t notice and just continue to pay them more money.
August 18 · Luz GutierrezWere told we hadn’t payed our yearly assessment for 3 years when no where in our closing papers does it say we had one other than the monthly assessment which we were up to date on. Even took all our papers to our lawyer and she told us the same thing that no where in our papers does it says we had TWO assessments (Masters & Monthly). We tried fighting it asking for invoices of when they sent us the notice for the past due balances and they couldn’t pull up anything. Then claimed our HOA had switched companies so they didn’t have any of the part papers besides the past due balance which again we had no notice of until we finally got the papers that we were being sued for almost 5k. Didn’t want to settle with just us paying the three years of yearly assessments since we understood those had to be payed but we thought it was unfair since we were not told in the past 3 years we had one but of course they only took off the late fees but racked up all the court and legal fees. And then on top of that since they offered a payment plan we went ahead and did that since it had gone up to almost 5k and couldn’t pay it all at once but of course there was a fee to even set up a payment plan for them to just “look over for the duration of the payment plan” which either way made up for the late fees they so “nicely” took off… they took advantage. Only cared for the money. What can you expect from them .? Horrible company.. horrible lawyers.. check all your papers and ask questions because they will get you no matter if it was their fault .. they will make it YOUR fault and take your money.
July 04 · LuzTHE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL law firm I have ever had to deal with in my life. No one can answer a question, they give you the runaround and display such a Lackluster Demeanor in providing Service. JUST spoke with a lady named Bernadette, who was difficult and not willing to provide any information. 5 thumbs down!!!!!’n
July 24 · Walter NelsonProof that lawyers are vultures. Proceeded with court filings after not permitting to settle $200 balance.Proceeded with court date after being informed that defendant was not available.Failed to email new date; sent by mail instead.HOA is current and has been current and now legal fees are at $4,000.Filed complaint with ARDC.
February 13 · Karmen FrlanUnprofessional, added unnecessary undisclosed charges, do not work with you unless you’re willing to pay even more money to them. Made you drop off money to an unsecured Dropbox without any receipt stating they received it. Good luck getting them to answer a phone call or your questions.
