★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I want to express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Mills and the entire team for the outstanding legal support I received during one of the most emotionally and legally challenging times of my life.Ms. Mills stood out for her professionalism, clarity, and above all, her compassion. She not only guided me through the legal complexities of my case with precision, but also provided emotional reassurance and strength when I needed it most. Her communication was always clear and timely, and I always felt that my voice was being heard and my concerns fully understood. What I appreciated most was that she never lost sight of what truly mattered: the well-being of my child and my desire to find a fair and peaceful resolution. Ms. Mills advocated for me with integrity and care, and her strategic thinking made all the difference in court.I highly recommend Ms. Mills to anyone in need of a family law attorney who is not only skilled and dedicated, but who also treats you like a human being, not just a case.Thank you for everything.— Donny Itwaru
August 28 · Donny ItwaruThis firm is the reason people hate lawyers and family law.I was forced to quickly obtain counsel based on some disgusting allegations being made about me during a contentious divorce and an emergency hearing rapidly approaching (3 days) to decide temporary custody of my daughter. I call, talk to the president who seemed very sympathetic to my plight. And decide I feel this firm will not only get my time back, and but help me fight for appropriate custody after presenting our case. The day before the hearing I made a payment so I can have a lawyer represent me and was going to pay the rest of the retainer the following morning since I had to move money around. A few hours before closing for the day, they call me and tell me the president has cancelled my deal without a full retainer being paid that day, ignoring the payment agreement me and the accounting manager had put in place.Next day I walked into a slaughter and was ordered to stay away from my daughter until certain requirements were made.Though being extremely pissed how the president handled my deal, I still hired them the next to reunite me with my kid and represent me in a hearing 65 days out. I had shopped around before hiring them, and I needed representation immediately.During that time, they did absolutely NOTHING to move my case forward. Because all documents had to be filed through them, they only cost me time. I reached out to the supervised visitation center for paperwork, I had to ask for follow up when request was waiting for judge to sign, I made the records requests to all offices, I filed for police reports, I went to the police department and wouldn’t take no for an answer. They did issue subpoenas, for a hearing they cancelled. Yet they made sure to charge me.Opposing counsel also made erroneous records requests that even his client didn’t want to file, and this form just rolled over. 4,000 pages later, and zero relevance to why I hired them, but they sure billed me to review it.Once I had jumped through every hoop imaginable, I was able to finally see my daughter as ALL allegations made against me were meritless. AFTER 53 DAYS when I had been cleared by all departments 24 days earlier. I missed her 4th birthday and Valentines day with no call or visit, yet the made no effort to help me.Before firing these clowns, my attorney told me she was going to be cancelling the hearing (The primary reason I hired her) as most of my time had been restored, and she said she wanted to push forward for mediation and court. Her office sent over a parenting plan that was not equal nor a plan we had discussed until the trial, which is months out. Was then notified that cost for trial would be another 6k retainer. Total cost 17-20k for hanging me out to dry and then not helping me with the only reason I hired them.Currently suing me for approx. 6k after lighting my retainer money on fire. The parental fitness hearing was the only thing I needed them for, and they cancelled it after I had proven myself innocent, ruining my chances to file for made up time and make my case for primary parent.Men’s rights? I got raked and my parental rights were violated ½ a dozen ways, yet they cancel the hearing to make my case. The president is trash for breaking the agreement. Had a lawyer been there for me during the initial hearing there is no way this would have been the outcome.Hire ANYBODY else. President hung me out to dry. Should have been my queue to leave.
August 27 · Phillip ConnorsI had a very in depth 30 min consultation with this law firm. The lawyer assigned to help me was very knowledgeable and knew exactly the answers I needed pertaining to my unique case. They made sure I felt comfortable and spoke with integrity and respect. If you are looking for highly intelligent lawyers that know the facts do not go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Kenny Leigh & Associates . Thank you very much for your knowledge and help.
July 18 · Brian MartinTalked to Kenny Leigh himself for 10 minutes for the FREE consultation he didn’t ask me much at all said we need to move fast in my case and immediately prompted me to retain a lawyer which they appointed me ms. Nicole mills for $2,500. after talking to ms. Mills for 45 minutes she 100% recommended me finding a lawyer out of state to deal with my issues out of state . So I asked for refund to do just that. They only sent me $2,000 dollars back while I received this email: “Please note the amount of the refund is $2000.00 as the remaining funds are being used to cover the cost of opening and closing your account with the firm” they basically made me pay $500 for a free consultation. Kenny Leigh should’ve found out more about my case before accepting me as a client telling me they would do this that and the third.
September 18 · Alex ToussaintDO NOT HIRE!!!!!We are still in the middle of our case and we can’t release the details of this but we saw the reviews and chose to still give them a chance. Unless you want to take a loan out against your assets to afford their services and not receive any results hire them. They advertise for men’s rights as fathers but all they care for is money. During the most vulnerable time of your life and being desperate to help your child they will take advantage of you, ignore your emails/calls, rack up your bill (you pay for each email received and sent- pretty absurd amount too), and so many other very disappointing situations that I can’t release right now as I stated in the beginning. I only write this review now and not after the case because I hope to help any other men to not be taken advantage of and ignored by their own attorney during the most vulnerable and difficult times of their lives.
