I honestly don’t even know where to start. Keith is a CON MAN. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from him. He attempted to add in $200 extra to his fee in the closing documents hoping that we would not notice. That is on top of the $1,300 dollars he tried to scam us in fraudulent fees and miscalculations.From day 1 he charged a very high rate, but we were happy to pay as long as the service was good. However, right after he had us as a client, Keith basically stopped responding to us. He would not pick up the phone at all. His assistant Biby is equally to blame as she would pick up the phone and dismiss us making excuses all the time for why it doesn’t make sense for us to talk to Keith. We had asked to meet with Keith so that we can familiarize ourselves with the process, but he informed Biby to not let us meet with him. My mortgage lender and sellers attorney contacted him multiple times to try to move the deal forward, but he would take weeks before replying to each email. We were under contract for 6 MONTHS because of Keith’s negligence. He would not advise us through the process at all and we were left along as first time buyers.On closing day, Keith hid the closing disclosure costs from us and only gave us a bottom line number to make a check to. Once we arrived he made us wait 3 hours in his office before he began our closing. During that time we were talking to the sellers attorney as we were sitting there with him for hours. He kindly pointed out that none of the numbers added up and the check that we had made out looks significant higher than the amount he calculated. The sellers attorney pretty much helped us find all the fees that Keith tried hiding from us and actually found a few instances where Keith made miscalculations. In the end, the difference between the real calculations and what Keith had provided us was ~$1,500. It is insane to me how our own lawyer was trying to rip us off. When we confronted Keith about how he added all these fees and tried bumping up his rate, he just played dumb and said he would’ve fixed it before we signed the final closing papers.KEITH IS A CONMAN. STAY AWAY. He should be banned from doing business
