- Bankruptcy Law: Providing expertise in both consumer and business bankruptcy filings.
- Chapter 7 Bankruptcy: Assisting clients in the process of liquidating assets to pay off creditors and discharging most unsecured debts, such as credit card debt and medical bills. This is often a good option for those with little to no disposable income.
- Chapter 13 Bankruptcy: Helping individuals with a regular income to reorganize their finances and create a manageable payment plan to pay back debts over a period of three to five years. This can be used to stop foreclosure or repossession.
- Debt Relief: Providing general legal counsel on debt management, negotiation with creditors, and exploring alternatives to bankruptcy.
- Stopping Foreclosure and Repossession: Filing for bankruptcy can immediately halt foreclosure proceedings and prevent the repossession of a car, giving clients time to reorganize their finances and save their home or vehicle.
- Eliminating Debts: Working to eliminate or significantly reduce various types of unsecured debts, including credit card debt and medical bills.
- Stopping Collection Calls: Once a bankruptcy is filed, an automatic stay goes into effect, which legally stops creditors from making collection calls and other harassing communications.
This comprehensive focus on bankruptcy and debt relief demonstrates a deep commitment to helping clients in a specific and often critical area of law. For a New Jersey resident facing financial hardship, having an attorney who specializes in these solutions can provide a sense of security and a clear path forward. The firm's focus on educating clients and making sure they understand every step of the process is a significant benefit in such a complicated legal field.

- Board-Certified Expertise: Jeff Jenkins is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. This is a rigorous, voluntary certification that demonstrates a high level of specialized knowledge and experience in bankruptcy law, setting him apart from many other attorneys.
- Extensive Experience: The firm's claim to have filed more bankruptcies than any other firm in New Jersey over the past decade is a powerful testament to their experience and familiarity with the state's legal system. This level of experience can be reassuring for clients with complex cases.
- Client-Centered Service: The positive customer review highlights the firm's compassionate approach. The client expresses that the team "took their time to walk me through the bankruptcy process" and "helped to ease all stress." This focus on communication and client support is crucial for a field as stressful as bankruptcy law.
- Physical Accessibility: The office provides a wheelchair accessible parking lot and a wheelchair accessible restroom. These amenities are vital for ensuring that the legal services are available to all members of the community without physical barriers.
- Personalized Consultations: The practice of "Appointments recommended" ensures that each potential client receives dedicated, one-on-one attention during their initial consultation. This allows for a thorough review of their financial situation and a tailored discussion of their best options.
The duality of the provided reviews is also a key feature. While one client had a "Best Bankruptcy Attorney" experience and loved the staff, another expressed a deeply negative and frustrating experience. This honest feedback underscores a crucial point: every legal case is unique, and client-attorney relationships can be challenging. It is a reminder that while a firm may have a strong track record, it is essential for potential clients to conduct their own thorough due diligence, ask detailed questions, and ensure they feel comfortable with the communication protocols before moving forward.

Jeff Jenkins Reviews
So far I am not pleased with their services. I hired a lawyer and after my case was taken and over $15,000.00 paid into payment plan for plaintiff, trustee, Jenkins & staff, and EPAC. On my end, I am current with rent and all trustee payments even with a few changes in the amount to be paid to trustee. Trustee’s office says speak to your lawyer with any concerns, questions, and issues which has not been to my benefit as yet. It’s been stressful, demeaning, frustrating, and unfortunate for ME. I pray for recovery, relief, and resolution per my end date which is concerning because I have expressed concerns from the beginning about how funds are being disbursed and protocols being that the plaintiff still has a past due balance showing on my account even though I paid a lump payment of $8,000.00 towards my arrears and the trustee’s office has sent payments towards arrears totaling over a $1,500.00 balance left. However, I can’t seem to get straight answers. Unfortunate.
