★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son in law recommended Hurley Elder Care Law when I was ready to revise my papers. He had had such a good experience when his mom moved from out of state and needed her will revised. Hurley is so professional and did things in a timely fashion. Anne Stallings was thorough and answered questions before I asked. She helped me outline my wishes, and put everything in an organized manner. I feel so comfortable knowing that my legal papers are in order.Thank you.
July 16 · Rina WolfeI cannot thank Hurley Elder Care Law enough for the incredible support and legal expertise they provided during one of the most emotionally difficult times of my life. When my deeply loved parent’s health declined rapidly due to vascular dementia, I found myself in urgent need of both emergency and permanent guardianship and conservatorship. The process was overwhelming — but thankfully, I found this exceptional firm.I want to especially recognize Danielle Humphrey, who guided me through each step with professionalism and heartfelt empathy. Danielle was patient in answering every question, honest in setting expectations, and truly caring in how she approached my family's situation. She not only provided excellent legal counsel, but also a sense of stability and reassurance when I needed it most. Thanks to Danielle, my family and I were able to secure the legal protections necessary to ensure my parent’s well-being and dignity. I am beyond grateful for Danielle's help and would not hesitate to recommend Hurley Elder Care Law to anyone navigating the challenges of elder law and long-term care planning.
May 13 · A. CurryThey will nickel and dime you to get every single CENT of your retainer. And their retainer is ridiculously high. I didn’t think we could even come close to the $8000 retainer… yep you read that right, $8000 retainer! We had a simple open and closed case that even the courts said would have been super simple for us to do on our own, and yet they managed to bill every cent out. I even questioned the “itemized” billing, as it didn’t match up with any of the records I kept personally, and the reply I received THREE MONTHS LATER was “we think our billing was fair.” Laughable. Also keep in mind if you’re looking at this firm, they will bill for drive time to and from you, so make sure you live close to them or you’ll be billed thousands just for the drive to your location. I highly recommend researching everything fully on your own before signing anything with this firm. Unless you are made of money.Edit* editing this to respond to their reply below my original post. No charges were discussed up front at all other than the $8000 retainer. Overall just felt like a money grab from someone needing help. Super disappointed in this firm.
June 30 · Neal AnthonyIn my experience, I would never use their service again. We went to them on behalf of my stepfather who was very ill. We needed to get him on Medicaid coverage so he could be moved into a long term facility . However, he passed away 7 days after contract was signed. They kept every penny of the 12,000 payment which was a one year contract, I find it completely unprofessional and questionable ethics to not pay us back a partial payment. So disappointed in this firm.
August 18 · Debbie UnderwoodThe services we received from Hurley Elder Care Law was excellent, every step was explained pertaining to our estate plans and our questions and concerns was addressed.
