What is worth choosing Hu Jin? The decision of which attorney to hire is a deeply personal one, and it's important to weigh all available information. The provided reviews point to significant issues with client service, particularly concerning the front desk staff's communication and responsiveness, as well as billing practices. These are serious concerns that a prospective client should take into account. For instance, one client felt they were treated "like some kind of idiot" and another cited being "randomly charged more money the day before closing." These accounts of poor communication and unexpected fees are critical factors in the client experience. However, on the other hand, the firm's physical presence in Brooklyn, its wheelchair accessible entrance, and its focus on a variety of practice areas suggest a professional operation that is structured to provide legal services. The firm's specialization in real estate, business, and immigration law makes it a potential option for clients with these specific needs. For some New Yorkers, the convenience of a local, accessible office might outweigh the negative feedback. It is worth noting that the negative reviews are focused on the staff and administrative aspects, rather than the attorney's legal knowledge itself. A potential client might choose to contact the firm directly to gauge the current level of service and see if their experience aligns with the negative reviews. For anyone seeking legal assistance, it is crucial to conduct a thorough evaluation of the firm's practices and to prioritize clear communication and transparency from the very first interaction.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bought my first house 7 years ago. I made the mistake of asking the front desk lady some questions during the initial contracting phase. Was treated like I was some kind of idiot for just asking questions. (I dunno, my first time buying a house). 0/10 would not recommend.
April 08 · Wayne ChenIf giving them 0 stars is an option I would've done that. The front desk people that work there are stupider that anyone I have ever worked with. Every time I call them, they never know what is going on with my situation, they either put you on hold and never come back or say they will call you back and never do. The day before closing my house they randomly charged me more money in order to get my deed, that charge was never mentioned to me before. I have to repeat things to them about 4x for them to understand. Coming to this law office totally ruined my first condo buying experience, and my best advice to all of you is to AVOID this law office at all cost, go somewhere cheaper with more efficient people.
October 04 · Xiao ChenThe lawyer and the front desk are nice people, but the manager of this office (or the person who claim to be the manager) is a mean and nasty one. I bought my first house with lawyer Jinhu. He gives me a good impression with his professional attitude. Throughout the years, I've been recommend him to my friends and family. However, he just lost a client due to hiring the wrong person for the most important position. Recently, I went to his office to inquire about the process of the deed transfer. I spoke to Larry, a very professional and informative guy in the office. He gave me all the information and told me feel free to call the office to make an appointment when I'm ready to proceed. When I called today, the manager answered the phone and everything changed. She claims that they don't do deed transfer. I was trying to explain to her that I just spoke to Larry and ready to proceed. I told her if she is not willing to help me then have someone else on the phone. Those were her words:" Larry does not make calls here, If I decline your case, nobody in this office can take your case! Go somewhere else!" Well, I guess I will take your advice and find a better lawyer or at least deal with someone who has a better attitude. I recommend any potential client to think twice before you step into this office. Buying and selling a house could be exciting and stressful; dealing with wrong people will definitely ruin your whole experience.
