★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My expertise is in the renovation of residential and commercial property. As construction work often goes badly and disputes arise I am usually able to mediate a dispute to everyone’s satisfaction, but I have had to appear as an expert witness in at least a dozen trials over the last 40 years. I have had several cases where my client’s lawyer has not fully grasped the case they are presenting and my client has lost. I worked with George Golumb in a trial a couple of months ago. As we had not had a face-to-face pulmonary meeting, I was fearful of how he might handle the case. He did an outstanding job. His questioning of me was incisive and to the point. Other aspects of the case were murky and difficult, but he handled these with such expertise that my client was awarded a very good judgment. I highly recommend him.
March 14 · Jack ReillyI have to say the man really let me down in my case. He misrepresented me and could have taken this case to trial and won but yet encouraged to engage into a settlement with arbitrary conditions. The man showed up to my case with his hair unmanaged, dandriff on his entire blazer by the shoulder, tie crooked, shirt wrinkled, and eyes red. He began to move the chairs around in the court room and even the Baliffs were gettting concerned from his nervous breakdowns. Do not recommend. I am stil in disbelief
May 28 · Miguel Johnson (H)What a shameful clown! LegalShield referred me to this greedy imbecile. He’s condescending and attempted to placate me after realizing I wasn’t as stupid as him. How he’s an attorney with such poor listening skills perplexes me.I contacted him regarding a matter in Baltimore City District Court. It’s a small claims case that doesn’t require an attorney yet he didn’t hesitate to request a $2K retainer to represent me. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion from an attorney a real estate associate referred me to. That attorney was kind enough to speak with me free of charge and listened attentively. He researched the statute while I was on the phone, advised me that I did not need an attorney and how to proceed despite the judge’s error, and sent me a copy of the statute. Additionally, I Googled and found another Maryland attorney’s YouTube video that also clearly stated the exact same thing and cited the statute. When I reached back out to George Golomb, he attempted to downplay the information when I cited the statute, and stated, “Well I don’t know how the court would rule”. However, he professed to know enough to request a retainer. What a charlatan.Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear of George Golomb!!!
January 17 · Waunita ScottI have never worked with a lawyer that made me feel more used and manipulated. Lied, overcharged and was not helpful in anyway. Got a second lawyer and my entire case was resolved in the less time and money then he charged just to reply. Even yelled at me. Do not work with this scam artist. (Even backdated a document just to charge me another 150$....shameful)
October 31 · Michael “Curtis” PriceI trust this message finds you well. I am writing to provide my feedback on the legal representation I received from your firm.Since parting ways with your firm and engaging new legal counsel, I have had an opportunity to reflect on the quality of the representation I received during our association. Regrettably, my assessment is far from favorable. I have experienced significant financial losses, exceeding $14,000, during the time you served as my attorney. There have been numerous instances where ethical concerns arose in our interactions, leaving me deeply dissatisfied.Several issues have particularly troubled me during my association with your firm:Ethical Concerns: I have observed instances where ethical boundaries appeared to be crossed, particularly in matters such as the drafting of parenting plans, responding to emails, and answering questions. These actions have raised serious ethical concerns in my mind.Ineffective Representation: Numerous crucial pieces of information that were provided to your firm over the years seemed to fall by the wayside, failing to make their way into the courtroom. It often felt as though my case was left hanging without clear direction. Despite filing multiple contempt motions, none seemed to garner the attention of the court, allowing repeated violations to persist.Misrepresentation of Events: A significant incident involving a child choosing to leave their mother's residence and staying with me was not effectively presented in court. This incident was later misattributed to me, resulting in unwarranted blame and threats of another child support trial. Even in moments of tension within the courtroom, when opposing counsel resorted to threats and raised their voice, my legal representation failed to take discernible action, which has been of great concern to me.Email Mismanagement: I received important emails directly for my response instead of them being managed by my legal counsel. This approach led to the escalation of disrespectful comments from the opposing party and their counsel. I felt personally insulted regarding my knowledge and education, and I believe my legal representative failed to advocate effectively on my behalf.Financial Mismanagement: Throughout the course of my representation, it has felt as though my financial resources were not used efficiently. It often required my active involvement to reintroduce evidence, incurring additional charges for resubmission. This repetitive process has only reinforced my belief that my finances were not handled appropriately.Lack of Compassion: During a period when I fell seriously ill and was hospitalized, I received numerous calls and texts concerning an outstanding payment, which added unnecessary stress. Battling severe migraines from time to time, I often found myself in and out of the ER and in quiet, dark places. This, coupled with my perception that I was misled about the time spent on my case, has left me deeply disappointed. In conclusion, I feel compelled to strongly discourage anyone from considering your firm for their legal needs based on my personal experience. As a father striving for the best interests of my children within the family court system, I am profoundly disheartened by the events that transpired during my representation.Take care.
