Trial attorney, Insurance attorney ★3.0

6 Beacon St #725, Boston, MA 02108, USA

3.0
The biggest mistake I’ve made in years was hiring attorney Smith. Directly to your face, with a smile and enthusiasm, he will tell you that your accident has disabled you with the inference that he will pursue this. He didn’t and he won’t. Inappropriate (he’ll tell you all about his marriage problems), lazy, and just plain ineffectual. Don’t take his word for it when he tells you he cares. He doesn’t. All he wants is his buck-fifty or whatever he charges. My accident? He did less than the bare minimum. Now, because of his malfeasance, I got barely anything in terms of compensations and I can’t move somedays because of my injury. Don’t bother. Really, he should have been sued. Save your money and your health. Loser. - Frank Slope

Frank A Smith III & Associates Introduce

In the challenging world of civil litigation, finding a legal professional who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely committed to your case is a critical step. For individuals in Boston and across Massachusetts, navigating the complexities of the legal system, especially in areas like personal injury or insurance-related matters, can be a daunting experience. Frank A Smith III & Associates, located in the heart of Boston, is a law office that has handled various civil disputes, positioning itself as a resource for those seeking a trial attorney or insurance attorney. Their practice is centered on civil litigation and working on behalf of their clients.

The firm, situated in the historic Beacon Hill area, is an established presence in the Boston legal community. The nature of their practice as a trial and insurance attorney's office suggests a focus on cases that may involve a dispute between an individual and an insurance company or other entities. However, as is the case with any legal service, the relationship between a client and their attorney is built on trust, communication, and a shared goal. For anyone in Massachusetts seeking to navigate such a legal issue, understanding the lawyer's approach and commitment to the case is an essential part of the process.

The office of Frank A Smith III & Associates is conveniently located at 6 Beacon Street, #725, Boston, MA 02108, USA. This address places the firm in a prime, easily accessible location in the center of Boston's legal and political hub. The office is in close proximity to the Massachusetts State House and various courthouses. For those using public transportation, the firm is within walking distance of several MBTA subway stations and bus stops, making it convenient for clients to visit from different parts of the city and surrounding areas.

The building itself is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. There is also an amenity of a restroom available for use. These features are in place to ensure that all clients, regardless of their mobility needs, can comfortably access the firm’s services. In order to provide the most focused and thorough service, the firm recommends that potential clients schedule an appointment. This practice allows the attorney to dedicate time to the individual's specific case, ensuring a more productive and meaningful consultation.

Frank A Smith III & Associates is known as a trial attorney and an insurance attorney. While specific details on the range of their services are not publicly detailed, the firm's focus on civil litigation suggests their practice areas may include a variety of legal challenges. As a trial attorney, they are prepared to represent clients in a courtroom setting, handling cases that proceed to trial. As an insurance attorney, their work likely involves navigating the complex world of insurance claims and disputes.

  • Trial Representation: The firm's designation as a "Trial Attorney" indicates their readiness to take cases to trial and argue on behalf of their clients in court. This is a critical service for individuals whose legal matters cannot be resolved through negotiation or settlement.

  • Insurance-Related Matters: The firm’s "Insurance Attorney" specialization points to a focus on legal issues involving insurance policies and claims. This could include disputes over coverage, claim denials, or other related matters.

  • General Civil Litigation: Given the nature of a trial attorney's practice, the firm likely handles a variety of civil litigation cases, which may encompass personal injury claims, contract disputes, and other legal actions between private parties or organizations.

While the firm's services are focused on civil and insurance litigation, choosing a lawyer involves more than just a list of practice areas. The client experience, as shared in reviews, is a significant factor in making an informed decision.

  • Client Experience: A review from a customer who hired the firm for an accident case describes their experience as "The biggest mistake I’ve made in years." The client alleges that the attorney was "ineffectual" and did "less than the bare minimum," leading to a poor compensation outcome. This is a significant concern for anyone seeking legal representation, especially in high-stakes personal injury cases where the outcome directly impacts a person's health and financial future.

  • Professional Conduct: The same review highlights alleged "inappropriate" behavior from the attorney, including sharing personal issues, which is a consideration for clients who expect a professional and focused legal relationship. The client also questions the attorney's commitment, stating, "He doesn’t ."

  • Outcomes and Results: The review claims that the client received "barely anything in terms of compensations" and continued to suffer from a serious injury, directly linking the poor result to the attorney's alleged "malfeasance." The client advises others to "Save your money and your health."

When selecting a lawyer, it is crucial to consider all available information, including both a firm's stated purpose and the experiences of past clients. Frank A Smith III & Associates is a Boston-based firm that specializes in trial and insurance law. However, a significant client review points to serious concerns regarding client satisfaction and professional conduct. The review, which describes the experience as "the biggest mistake I’ve made in years," alleges that the attorney was "ineffectual" and "lazy," and that their actions led to a minimal compensation amount for a serious injury. The client felt the attorney was not personally invested in their case and was more concerned with financial gain.

This testimonial stands in stark contrast to the standard of care and advocacy a client expects from their legal counsel. The claims of alleged malfeasance and a lack of genuine care are critical factors for any potential client to consider. While every case is unique and every experience can vary, such a strong negative review raises serious questions about the firm's ability to provide the diligent and professional service required for a personal injury or insurance case. For anyone in Massachusetts seeking a lawyer for such a matter, it is essential to conduct thorough due diligence and potentially seek a second opinion to ensure they find a legal partner who will not only fight for their best interests but also handle their case with the utmost professionalism and care.
