Unfocused and Unresponsive AttorneyI engaged Alan Flaster for my case, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Throughout the entire process, I found Flaster to be unfocused and unresponsive, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.Firstly, I had to consistently send numerous emails to remind Flaster about my case and to prompt any progress. It felt like I was doing more of the work than he was. Communication should be a cornerstone of legal representation, and in this regard, Flaster fell short. When we spoke on the phone, he interrupted, spoke over my voice. I had to make an effort to communicate my information.Additionally, he disregarded my opinions. For instance, when I was given the choice of arbitrators, Flaster disregarded my preference and selected a different one without proper explanation or consultation. This decision only added to the lack of transparency and collaboration in the handling of my case.Despite my efforts to clarify details repeatedly, it seemed that Flaster struggled to grasp key aspects of my situation. This lack of understanding likely contributed to the less-than-desirable outcome of my case. The settlement achieved was not substantial enough, especially when considering that Flaster's fee was an exorbitant half of what I received.Furthermore, Flaster allowed what should have been a straightforward case to drag on for almost a year, which only added unnecessary expense, stress and time to the process. This prolonged timeline did not align with my expectations and further underscored Flaster's ineffective handling of my case.After paying Flaster all but the last $5000 of his fees, I was paying them out monthly: I am a retired woman on a fixed income. Flaster threatened me with legal action if I didn't pay the sum in full, and it took two months of negotiations to work out a payment schedule.In conclusion, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Alan Flaster to others seeking legal representation. The lack of focus, communication issues, and subpar results were disappointing and left me dissatisfied with the overall service provided.
