Elliot is a very passive attorney, unwilling to represent his client (me), who would regularly raise his voice at me for asking reasonable questions, habitually aggressively interrupting speech, talking over, ignoring requests of updating about status of case for months, allow detrimental lies to remain unchallenged in court, very forgetful and senile to the point of absurdity. Habitually puts client's interests last. During conferences and hearings he usually sits quietly and reliably fails to speak up, even when it is his time to speak in defense of his client. Whenever he speaks, he starts to focus on irrelevant little things instead of the big and important thing or two that he was asked to talk about. Every time he gets a chance to, so sad. He does that reliably time after time and ignores specific requests to mention certain very important things, even when they are written down for him to reference.Says that he filed motions when he has not, then does it again and never apologizes for months of wasted time. It often seems that his incompetence is so brazen as if he has been paid to sabotage his client's interests by the opposing party.Provides detrimental advice that would have gotten me in trouble with the law, on two occasions, were I to follow it.
