## Services Offered
As an attorney, Edison Mark E provides legal counsel and representation to clients. The provided information categorizes the practice as a general attorney, meaning they may handle a broad range of legal matters. While the source information does not specify every single area of law the attorney practices, the client reviews available touch on one specific type of case: estate settlement. The reviews mention a case involving a "simple estate settlement for someone who passed away." This indicates that the attorney has experience in probate and estate administration. Estate law can be a complex and sensitive area, involving tasks such as managing a deceased person's assets, paying debts, and distributing property to heirs. An attorney specializing in this area can be crucial for guiding a family through a difficult and emotional time. It is a field that requires patience, attention to detail, and a high level of professional conduct. For individuals in Kentucky facing legal issues related to the passing of a loved one, an attorney with experience in estate settlement is often a necessary resource. While the reviews highlight specific concerns about the handling of such cases, the fact that this type of legal work is undertaken by the firm is notable. For anyone in the Shepherdsville area with a legal need, particularly in the realm of estate law, it is recommended to conduct thorough research and, if possible, have an initial consultation to determine if the attorney's services align with your needs.

## Features / Highlights
Choosing a legal professional is a highly personal decision, and understanding an attorney's characteristics and client-facing practices is essential. Based on the provided client reviews, several features and aspects of the firm stand out, both positive and negative, which are important for a potential client to consider:
Professional Demeanor and Communication: Client reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the attorney's demeanor and communication style. Feedback describes the individual as the "absolute rudest person I have ever dealt with" and notes instances where he "raises his voice and gets very nasty." There are also multiple complaints of being "belittled." This is a critical point of consideration for any potential client who values a respectful and supportive attorney-client relationship.
Timeliness and Case Management: Reviews repeatedly mention issues with the timeliness of case progression. A client reported a "run around for over a year now" on a case that was expected to be completed much earlier. The reviews also state that paperwork was claimed to be ready for filing for a full 12 months, but had not been filed. This suggests a pattern of delays and poor case management, which can be highly detrimental to a client's legal matter.
Allegations of Unethical Behavior: The most severe highlight from the client feedback is an explicit warning to "DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN" and an admission that a client filed an ethics complaint with the Kentucky Bar Association. Specific examples provided in the reviews, such as claiming to deliver documents that were not, lying about the status of a case, and hanging up on clients, point to serious professional conduct concerns. These are significant red flags that require careful consideration by anyone contemplating hiring this attorney.
Accessibility Features: On a positive note, the physical office itself is designed with accessibility in mind. The presence of a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot, and restroom demonstrates an effort to make the legal office physically reachable for all clients, a practical consideration that is beneficial to the community.
These features, particularly the repeated and serious concerns raised in client reviews, are crucial for a prospective client to be aware of when considering this legal professional. They provide a factual, albeit concerning, overview of the client experience.

## What is Worth Choosing
Deciding on the right attorney is a deeply personal choice that requires careful evaluation of all available information. For residents of Shepherdsville and Bullitt County, Edison Mark E's office is a local option for legal services. On the one hand, the firm's physical office is designed to be highly accessible, with a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, and restroom, which is a practical benefit. It is also an attorney who practices in the community and has experience with cases like estate settlement. However, it is essential for potential clients to weigh these aspects against the serious concerns raised in public reviews. The feedback from clients highlights significant issues with professional conduct, including rudeness, a lack of communication, and alleged delays in case progression. The fact that a former client felt compelled to file an ethics complaint with the Kentucky Bar Association is a powerful statement about their experience. In a legal relationship, trust, respect, and clear communication are paramount, especially when dealing with sensitive matters like an estate settlement. The reviews indicate that these qualities may not be consistently present. For anyone in Kentucky seeking legal representation, it is highly recommended to prioritize a professional who is not only skilled but also operates with integrity, timely communication, and respect for their clients. A thorough consultation, where you can ask specific questions about case management and communication practices, is crucial before making a final decision. The information available suggests that while the office is physically accessible, the professional experience may not meet the expectations of all clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is the absolute rudest person I have ever dealt with in a professional manner. He raises his voice and gets very nasty. His office sits on work and strings you along when you ask for updates. I have received the same run around for over a year now for what seems to be a simple estate settlement for someone who passed away 27 months ago. He claimed this would be done by the end of last year, i call sporadically to check in on the status or an update and he is always so rude and says its waiting on my desk or waiting on someone to type up. I do NOT recommend using him unless you want things prolonged and someone to belittle you when talking to him
July 14 · Jerry Randolph**DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN.**It had gotten so bad that I had to file an ethics complaint with the Kentucky Bar Association against him.- File paperwork with the court showing “proof” of delivering documents to me, but the tracking information showed it was delivered to his office.- He has never contacted me - ever - by letter or phone and has been working on a simple estate administration.- When I have called, he has hung up on me, yelled at me or outright lied.- A full 12 months ago, he advised paperwork was complete on his desk and ready to be filed. It has not been done as of the time of this review.- In Sept 2024, he committed to filing said paperwork by the end of the year.- “Go ahead” was his response when I told him his behavior was unethical and I would file a complaint.
