Lisa provided a stress-free environment and helped us navigate unfamiliar territory. She listened to our questions, answered with clarity, and put us at ease at every step. It's a great burden lifted to have completed our estate planning with Ahead of the Curve Law and we learned a great deal going through the process. I recommend Lisa and her team to anyone who wants high-quality estate planning advice, comprehensive understandable documentation, and focus and attention to your unique circumstances.
October 13 · Michael KruseI worked with Lisa on getting my trust set up, and she was wonderful to work with! Lisa is great at listening and providing helpful advice, and she really simplified the process. It was quick, easy, and efficient, and Lisa was lovely to work with. Shout out to Claire, the Legal Assistant at Ahead of the Curve, for also being wonderful to work with and being super helpful through the whole process! I highly recommend Ahead of the Curve Law!
September 16 · Melody GluthWe have known Lisa for 7 years as she did some previous trust work for us with excellent results. Our family trust required updates and we went again to Lisa due to the great experience from the past. Lisa is very knowledgeable on the subjects and explains everything in a way that a non-legal person can understand. In addition she is very personable and easy to work with on these matters which at times can get a bit intense! The entire process went well and we are very pleased. We have additional trust work to update that have already retained Lisa to start in April. You will not be disappointed with Lisa, very professional and courteous.
March 13 · Mark SmithLisa was great and I am so grateful for her help. . I’m 66, and have never done any estate planning. Lisa explained everything I needed, charging me a very reasonable amount. November 30 · Brad GersonMy parents went to a law firm and had a trust made a number of years ago. Four years ago I moved in with them to help my father who was ill and my mother who is suffering from dementia. When my father passed away in 2020, I realized that I needed help with the trust; I was overwhelmed. There were still things that needed to be done on the trust. I was uncertain about what to do and how to do it. I wanted to be sure I was doing things correctly. I told a good friend about my dilemma and he recommended that I call Lisa. I’m I glad I did! She contacted me promptly, and we set up a meeting. She reviewed the trust, the things I did, and advised me on the things I still needed to complete. She drew up documents that clarified my position as successor trustee which have facilitated to process. She took the time to explain the things I didn’t understand. I mentioned that I had filed for a tax extension for my parents and needed help fast. She made a conference call to a great CPA and I was able to set up an appointment to get their taxes done, too. Everything I fretted over for months was resolved in minutes. I highly recommend Lisa. My friend was right; she is very knowledgeable, honest and fair!
