For families in Georgia facing the difficult and emotional process of divorce or other family law issues, finding a compassionate yet effective attorney is paramount. The legal system can be a challenging arena to navigate, especially when personal relationships and the well-being of children are at stake. Coe Law Offices, located in Fayetteville, Georgia, is a firm that focuses on providing legal guidance for these sensitive situations. This article aims to offer a clear overview of the firm's services, location, and approach to family law, helping residents in the Georgia region learn more about their practice.
Coe Law Offices is a legal practice with a strong focus on family law. Led by attorney Philip S. Coe, the firm specializes in a range of legal services that fall under this category, including divorce, mediation, and trial representation. Mr. Coe has decades of litigation experience and is a registered mediator and arbitrator. His philosophy, as described on his website, is to encourage clients to resolve their cases through "compromise, conciliation and collaboration" when possible. He believes in minimizing the psychological scars on children that can result from contentious court battles. His approach to family law is described as "unabashedly Christian," and he often challenges clients to consider the long-term impact of their actions on their family. This approach to law is unique and demonstrates a perspective that goes beyond just winning a case to considering the overall well-being of the clients and their families.
While his focus is on helping families resolve disputes amicably, Mr. Coe is also a trial lawyer. This means that if mediation or negotiation fails, he is prepared to represent his clients in court. This dual expertise in both alternative dispute resolution and litigation provides clients with options for handling their case, whether they seek a more collaborative approach or need a strong advocate in the courtroom.

Coe Law Offices Reviews
Do not let his Master of Theology degree fool you. His god is the almighty dollar. His clients do all the work and he bills exorbitantly and as with my single parent daughter working 3 jobs, he pulled the rug out from under her feet when his business was suffering during Covid and because she could not pay many thousands at once, he got approval from a judge to drop her case (with 3 contempt charges against her ex hanging in the balance) and told her she could represent herself. He sent her balance to a collection agency. She paid more in legal fees than she would have ever received in child support, which was why he pressured her into going to court in the first place.
January 24 · Bob HoferMy soon-to-be ex-wife presented a Settlement Agreement. I asked Mr. Coe to review it multiple times as I was done litigating. He refused. I went to his office and begged him to review the Settlement Agreement. He became frustrated, claiming I was telling him how to do his job. I wanted to settle. He would not assist. I ended our business together. I felt Mr. Coe was interested in continued litigation so as to reap the rewards of continued billing.
