divorceagreement
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was fairly obvious that she was simply unfamiliar with anything that wasn't straight cut text book divorce but I thought all the boxes had been checked since mine was a simple divorce. NOT - years later issues about regarding employment changes, pensions, resident changes, etc have all had an extreme impact on my financial situation - these are things that SHE should have known and made stipulations for in the final agreement. I truly believe she is kinda lazy and only did what was easy rather than what was right. She got paid the same. My recommendation is find another attorney.
July 20 · Laura WilliamsonDo you want a divorce attorney who refuses to help with deed changes or anything else that is part of your final judgment? Hire this woman. How about one who believes her retainer agreement supersedes a judge’s own writing? Hire this woman.I went to the county court myself and even asked to retain other lawyers to fulfill the judge’s order in my divorce decree which was to remove my ex-spouse’s name off my property’s deed. Universally - the opinion was that my divorce attorney should be the one to handle this.Well, she didn’t want to perform this service and claimed she didn’t understand how to create a deed. Crazy because all I did is Google and use the postal system. And no, I didn’t attend a day of law school.Megan, if you’re reading this…it’s been fun dealing with you.

September 27 · Anna BookerI hired Ms. Clark years ago due to a dispute in my divorce settlement. $7000 later, I wouldn't say I was fully happy but could've been worse. 4 years later, I have $600 left on credit and now trying to get that measly bit back is impossible. No one is answering my emails or voice-mail. I got her secretary FINALLY on the phone last month and was told "Invoices will be mailed out in January". Wait... no... that's not what I'm calling about. Too late; she hung up.I am truly and honestly confused. Am I not entitled to any monies on account? At least answer me and tell me that. I wouldn't recommend this firm being that my ex's attorney got everything they asked for and very little went my way... But that's not why the 1 star. Not only did I draw the short straw in the end, but lost the $600 crumb leftover as well.
