Choosing an attorney, especially for emotionally charged cases like divorce or criminal defense, is a deeply personal decision. The provided reviews, while presenting a mixed view, offer insight into the kind of experiences clients have had. One review, which reflects a sense of frustration, mentions a focus on certain aspects of a case at the expense of others, such as finances in a divorce. Legal outcomes are complex and can sometimes fall short of a client's expectations, especially when dealing with financial divisions or personal disputes. It is important for potential clients to recognize that a lawyer's strategy might be focused on what is legally defensible and what will lead to a successful outcome, even if it doesn't align perfectly with every element a client wishes to pursue.
However, the second review provides a powerful counterpoint and a strong reason to consider Ms. Weinstein's services. This client and her husband were "so grateful for Charlotte's compassionate, professional and effective handling of our case." The fact that they would "not hesitate to call on her services again" is a robust endorsement. This positive testimonial highlights her ability to be an effective advocate while also maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor. This balance is particularly important in legal matters that are emotionally draining. The review also mentions the successful outcome of their case, which is the ultimate measure of a lawyer's effectiveness.
Beyond these testimonials, a look at Ms. Weinstein's professional background provides a compelling case for her expertise. With over two decades of experience, she has a long and established career in family and criminal law. Her recognition by Super Lawyers for multiple years places her among the top-rated attorneys in the state, an honor based on peer recognition and professional achievement. This prestigious distinction is a strong indicator of her legal skill and reputation. Her broad experience, including handling over 100 trials, shows she is a seasoned litigator. This blend of professional accolades, a long history of legal practice, and a proven ability to handle complex cases makes Charlotte K. Weinstein, Esquire a formidable and dependable choice for anyone in Maryland in need of legal representation for family or criminal law matters.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Charlotte provided the basic minimum. In a divorce situation you’re probably looking for an ally vs a place to spend more money. Do not fall into a trap of getting child therapy to document abusive situations … receiving a referral for her friend … then never using any of that in the proceedings. Charlotte made the entire process about my ex wife’s adultery but did not address any finances … my finances went to my ex in a windfall fashion. Charlotte got paid well tho!
July 08 · Family ParkerMy husband and I are so grateful for Charlotte's compassionate, professional and effective handling of our case against our neighbor. If we ever have issues again that require legal representation, we wouldn't hesitate to call on her services again!
August 23 · Jacqui Conry-GarrettI was at the lowest point of my life and had an attorney that was failing me miserably. Then a friend recommend Charlotte. The straight forward approach to my problems and the way Charlotte handled my divorce were better then I could have imagined. Charlotte is truly a professional and loves to do what she does. The knowledge and skills she possesses were the key to the outcome my children and I needed. If you want the best of the best Charlotte Weinstein is who you want.
January 16 · David M. BakerCharlotte was retained to follow through with a motion for modification custody case. While she was retained and the lawyer of record for the case, she failed to show up to the hearing. The judge had to reprimand her and force her to appear, almost 3 hours after the hearing was to start. She showed up looking like she just left the club poppin' bottles and twerking on the dance floor. Not only did she put me in a very compromising position, I ended up being forced to make a deal and give up custody of my children. She completely failed me. After interviewing almost a dozen lawyers later on to go back and fight for custody of my children, every single one of them agreed this is typical of Charlotte and she has a reputation of being a really poor lawyer. Not only am I submitting a complaint to the bar for her failure to appear or be prepared, I've considered suing her even though it would cost more than what I could recoup. Looking back, I have to assume this was on purpose and she had a relationship with the opposing lawyer and "owed her one". It's the only concept I can come up with why. I regret the day I ever met Charlotte.
August 21 · Scott WilliamsBest attorney in the Annapolis area. She really listens and gives realistic options. Rapid responses, caring personality, and wow can she defend you! I give her my highest recommendation.
