★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I reached out to this attorney, because I saw what he did for somebody and had hope. I need to go back to court now that I could finally afford an attorney, I took my ex-husband back to court for one thing.I have called Charles several times, I have written him, it’s been a 1 1/2 years and he has not returned any phone calls who knows what he did with the $3500 I paid him. Reached out to other attorneys to judges I’m completely upset that he’s not representing the law or me. Just took my money.
May 27 · Yvette WaterburyUnfortunately, I can't leave ZERO stars since that is what this law firm deserves. I have had a case going for two and a half years with the mother of my two children. My attorney Jeremy Atwood is AMAZING! Charles on-the-other hand, is totally incompetent and also lied to my attorney and the other party. He said that he had sent over information and several other papers, but to no avail they never showed up. This must be one of those attorneys that got a D- in school, but still passed so that he can call him-self an attorney. Absolutely pathetic!
January 15 · Nate HarmonUnfortunately I can't give him zero stars, which is still more than he deserves!!! Absolute worst attorney ever!!!! He doesn't care about you, your family, your needs, or your case....all he cares about is how much money he can make from it!!!When he sees $$$ all ethics/morals are thrown out the window!!!* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *We saw that Mr. Ahlstrom replied to our review but can't respond to it without posting a whole new review..so we're editing our review to respond, as well as add additional info about what he did to our family! My husband's case was given to Mr. Ahlstrom when our previous lawyer unfortunately passed away. Keeping Mr. Ahlstrom as our attorney, as my husband's attorney, turned out to be the biggest mistake of our lives! He literally did NOTHING that he said he was going to do for my husband/his case! Although we supplied him with copious amounts of evidence against the other party showing that she was unfit & abusive, he never used any of it! One time he called us 4 days before court & asked why he hadn't received a response to the documents that he'd sent regarding the upcoming court date. We never received ANY documents until AFTER he'd called us asking why we hadn't responded to them. Then when we finally got the documents, they were as thick as an Ogden phonebook! He said that he needed a response from my husband to said documents first thing the next morning so that he could file it with the court in time! I sat up until after 4 a.m. writing the response & sent it to Mr. Ahlstrom when I was finished so that he had it 1st thing, as he'd requested. We were then surprised to see that we were billed for his paralegal to type up the response practically verbatim of what I'd written!! Then Mr. Ahlstrom called my husband & asked him to come into his office. My husband asked me to go with him to read the documents & make sure that everything in the documents was what he'd agreed upon. So I went with my husband to Mr. Ahlstrom's office, & planned on sitting in the room with my husband & Mr. Ahlstrom, as I had every other time. When we got to his office, my husband was taken into another room with Mr. Ahlstrom but I was not allowed in the room with them this time, nor was I allowed to read through the documents that Mr. Ahlstrom was pressuring my husband to sign. While they were in the room together, Mr. Ahlstrom told my husband that he had 2 choices...that he could take it to trial, pay Mr. Ahlstrom an additional 5-6 thousand dollars, & lose custody, or that he could sign the papers that Mr. Ahlstrom had pushed in front of him, & lose custody.....either way my husband was losing custody!!! Oh, & the trial I just spoke of WAS the upcoming court date that I talk about in the previous paragraphs, that's why the court papers were as thick as an Ogden phonebook...Mr. Ahlstrom had also tried to withdraw counsel days before the trial, which isn't/or wasn't allowed at the time. My husband & I both agree that because he wasn't allowed to withdraw counsel days before the trial was why Mr. Ahlstrom did what he did, gave my husband the ultimatum that he did. Mr. Ahlstrom basically said that he wasn't going to do anything to help my husband, or our family like he'd said he would. So because of Mr. Ahlstrom's greed, lack of morals, & unethical behavior, my husband ultimately lost custody & our lil girl was placed back in the home/care of her abuser! Sadly, it wasn't a surprise that she began being abused again & her mother was right back to her old ways. Using an innocent child as her personal manipulation tool, withholding visitations from my husband, withholding information from him, she did everything possible to try to cut our family/my husband out of his daughter's life!It took nearly 6 years, countless hours in court, & thousands of dollars to regain custody, but we did it & she's home, where she belongs, where she should have been all along! Worst experience with an attorney by far!!
December 06 · A. WatkinsForced to use as a guardian ad litem during a heated divorce. Failed to remain objective during the course of that divorce. All he cared about was getting paid rather than the best interest of the children involved. Swayed by false statements from there opposite party rather than facts proven in front of his own eyes. Just your typical low life attorney wanting your money wearing ugly ties..
