CC&S Law (Carson Clelland & Schreder) Reviews
Attorney Dawn Speltz and Paralegal Kayla Johnson were incredible throughout my divorce process. They were exceptionally responsive, often replying to my emails even at night, and provided clear guidance on every legal matter. Dawn helped me achieve 50/50 physical and legal custody of my children, something I didn’t realize was possible as a father. She found legal precedents that ensured equitable division of assets. The divorce was entirely negotiated and we didn't have to go to court. I couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication and professionalism. Highly recommend!
January 02 · Mwongera KiogaPlease do not hire Ellen Schreder. I found her at anoka county law day. I was desperate and thought she would help me diligently. I was soo wrong to hire her and then to keep going thinking it would get better. I agree 💯 with the other reviews on her. She should stop practing law as she is a very incompetent and unprepared lawyer and will waste your money bickering and arguing with you more that the opposing party. I also been ridiculed and told it will just cost me more. And of course we all are trying to get help at the lowest cost. She hid information so I was in the unknown about what was sent or discussed with the other party and won't respond to opposing party like I asked. She does not voucher for her client and cant take good criticism as she stated in her email I was insulting her with good criticism and how she had stressed me even more with her degrading statements about losing money and what the opposing party will or will not. Instead of just simply arguing in her clients best interest and considering all factors that would be best for her client she pushes for just taking any offer given. Even after there is positive evaluation and I have soo many evidence to clear me. Mediation was horrible I felt like I was not heard at all and I got no consideration. Even after the fact that I recd the best evaluation. She does not care and will waste your money. Look at her face. It tells you everything about her person. I will gladly answer any question any person has that want to hire her. Do not let her waste your money. Do not let her waste you time. Do not let her stress you out more than the situation already has.
September 24 · Maimua HI am a client of Dawn at this office. Not only would I utilize her services for myself again, I will forever and always refer her to anyone in need. She's professional, diligent, and is gifted with immense skill and knowledge in her field. She actually cares about her clients and shows it. Amazing individual.
December 21 · Tim LinnI found Ellen to be unprepared; my side came to mediation prepared. We had provided bank statements, lists of assets and other documentation per her request. She either didn’t request the same items from opposing counsel or was not willing to share those items with our side. She interrupted me on several occasions and spent very little time with me during the process. Perhaps the most disappointing I felt judged and dismissed by her behavior. I would urge you not to use her in any capacity.
December 13 · Wade PowersMediation a negative with EllenI thought it would be impartial. She ridiculed me several times. She made assumptions on our divorce and flat out said a Judge would look at me as being ridiculous. She did not follow the paperwork my attorney provided resulting in extra negotiations after the fact.
