John Carlin is phenomenal.Anytime you need a lawyer it’s because of something that in turn brings a great amount of anxiety and fear. Some attorneys prey on that fear while others avoid the clients’ feelings altogether (or maybe are just too concerned with the case to take a moment to make sure that their client is ok.) This is not the way that John Carlin operates.Upon first meeting John I was pleasantly surprised with his breadth of knowledge. He seemed to have the answer for EVERYTHING! …and very quickly, might I add. Very Quickly. Some people need time to process information or deliberate a situation in their mind before acting. Not John Carlin. When you ask him a question he quickly answers and sets things in motion. This confidence and expertise made me feel more than at ease that the right moves were being made. So much so, that I recall just for a second thinking that this was so good to be true that something surely was going to fly off the handle. For a few weeks I waited for the other shoe to drop. I even had other attorneys (divorce attorneys and real estate attorneys) telling me, “no, this doesn’t make sense. Let me see the filing,” etc… which made me nervous on two total separate instances. But I must admit, John Carlin was right every single time.I told him my concerns and he protected them all the way through! And quickly! And with extreme confidence!I even had an instance where something came back around a year later, and another attorney warned me that something I did is now going to cause me big delays because of the way that something was handled. When I reached back out to John to assist, he not only remembered who I was, but handled the situation immediately, and once again, John was right.No matter what you need. I can assure you that you are in good hands with John. I don’t say this often but it needs to be said: John Carlin is the best. And unfortunately, I’ve met a lot of attorneys to know the difference.Go with John. You won’t be disappointed.

A lot of promises before he got paid.After payment - not answering calls, not answering emails.Lied and mislead about bankruptcy process.Becareful! John helped me through some extremely difficult financial processes. He has an extremely high EQ, is patient, and extremely kind. I walked into his office with my head down and he really helped me pick my chin up. He is quick, thorough, and follows up even after any proceedings are done. I've worked with a lot of attorneys, and some (not all) have been lazy and not very nice, especially after they receive their retainers. This was not the case with John. I would recommend him without hesitation. You'll be in good hands.
