June 07 · Audrey Ehrhardt“Totally Impressed With His Knowledge,”professionalism and quick response. Mr. Brightwell, was extremely helpful, and I would call on him again if ever needed a good probate attorney. I highly recommend him!
February 24 · Jennifer SmithThe review from Wll (8 months ago) was right on. For me, within the first minute of the call with "Debra" discussed me. That minute was all i needed to hear to find another atty. Shes rude and short and no help at all. Only one star was to much. Good luck Brightwell Elder.
March 06 · Debra J MorganI had an incident that was very traumatizing to me and my family about 2 weeks ago. Upon looking for a lawyer, I was referred to this Law Firm from another Law Firm. The law firm that originally referred me was extremely nice and understanding of my situation, however Bart (my lawyer), was booked with a full docket. But nevertheless I trusted that my lawyer would refer me to a good Law Firm that would take good care of me right? Wrong. Unstable, erratic, and hostile best suits what I encountered when this woman from this firm answered the phone with a simple "hello". So at first I obviously was asking , 'is this a law firm?'. She said, "ummmmm yeaaaaaa.... Did you not call a law firm???". I said, "yes I believe I did, but with the way you answered the telephone, I questioned if I had called the wrong number or something. Her next response was even more shocking and belligerent, because she said it probably 20 times in a matter of 1-2 minutes; "what is your damages? What is your damages? What is your damages?" Etc. Etc. Etc.. all the while, she REFUSED to let me speak. I said, "ma'am, I'm trying to tell you my damages". She interrupted me AGAIN and AGAIN said, "YOURE NOT TELLING ME DAMAGES, YOURE TELLING ME WHAT HAPPENED!!!"... She was screaming at this point. I said, "ma'am I'm literally telling you my damages, but you have to let me speak, please". She then said I was "clearly not able to comprehend the difference between damages and 'YOUR STORY', and she then hung up. I called back and asked her if we had gotten disconnected. She said, "no of course not. I hung up on you because you are wasting my time and you were 'screaming at me'. At this point I was confused. "Screaming???" SERIOUSLY??? This womam was screaming from the word "hello" lol. She said, "yes and now you're speaking normal" and hung up before I could even say a word... now, at this point, I was SO SHOCKED and confused. I was not about to call her back because she obviously has serious mental and/or emotional issues. Hell, maybe she was hired out of courtesy to the anger management community. Maybe this hiring makes this law firm look like it CARES for emotionally challenged individuals. Or maybe she was just having the absolute WORST DAY OF HER LIFE... Hell if I know. But what I DO KNOW is that I never ONCE raised my voice; and I was TRYING to even be able to SPEAK without this woman going absolutely mad lol. So anyway, after being hung up on for the second time, I was speaking to my fiancé (who heard the woman screaming from across the room from my ear piece of my phone ), and my fiance said I should call back again and ask to speak to a supervisor or somebody other than this woman. I told my fiance, "I don't think that would be a good idea as she will probably call the police and try to say I'm harassing them (her)"... But, my fiancé is a paralegal herself, and she said that there's nothing that this unstable woman can do other than call the police; and the police tell us to stop calling. My fiance said We were threatening no one and we were nothing but kind to her... Even though I was laughing in her ear because she was that funny when she really blew her top... So anyways, I called back a third time, and sure enough, she said I was being a nuisance, harassing her, and that she was calling the police... and of course, she then hung up again. At the end of the day , my only intention was to ask her how this escalated to this point and why she felt the need to hang up on me and interrupt me so many times. this woman was the most unprofessional person I had ever seen or dealt with in my entire life.
July 07 · Will DAfter calling this office the horrendous attitude of the receptionist, and lack of professionalism left me with a great concern about customer service in the USA. This attorney needs to fire her and hire some one that wants to work. This individual needs to work in the land fill not in customer service of any kind. I will report this horrible lack of service to the B.B.B
