July 15 · Joshua BaronI am only writing this review because I don't want anyone to end up in the same situation as me working with Stacy McNeill, McKenna Morris (junior attorney), Candice Montoya (paralegal), and Shauna Harmon (Stacy's assistant).Stacy made herself very available for two free consult sessions. Once hired, however, it always took her weeks to months of emails, texts, and calls to her and her team for every question I had and for every step of my case to happen. At one point, responding to my frustration with this, Shauna emailed me, "FYI, her inbox gets inundated with emails."Stacy can be very charming, and was when I met her and frequently during working on the case. However, there were moments of unsettling animosity from her. Once the final documents for the case were drafted, I had a question about a single sentence and spent weeks trying to get the team's attention. After sending an email with an all-caps title, Stacy replied to me saying, "Leave it as is and sign." When I asked the team to apologize to the defendant's team and explain the delays were because of them (not me), Stacy emailed me saying, "We're not apologizing to [the defendant's] team....If you would like to apologize to [the defendant] for some reason, go right ahead."There were other unsettling moments from Stacy. After weeks, again, of trying to reach her about another issue, the defendant's team reached out to them. After she heard about the issue from that exchange, Stacy called me right away, saying things like, "Why didn't you tell me this was happening? You can call me any time!" Later, I signed up for MyCase via utcourts.gov to receive notifications from the court about all the documents filed for my case (something Stacy and her team never told me about). There, I saw that it took Stacy and her team, again, weeks to file all the paperwork for my case even after everything was agreed on, finalized, and signed. However, Stacy emailed me saying, "I have no idea why it's taken so long."Overall, I have the impression Stacy works hard to recruit new clients, then carries a larger case load than she has the capacity for, resulting in significant delays and insufficient attention to individual clients and cases. There were issues I raised about my case that she brushed off, and I wonder if another attorney would have taken them seriously. Stacy is charming and can instill confidence, but the more I worked with her, the more I felt she was someone I should interact with with caution. I'm glad the case is over and our professional relationship is over. However, I would warn anyone looking for representation against working with her.

February 04 · Becky RobisonWe contacted 5 attorneys before hiring BTJD. They have represented us professionally and responded to all of our questions and concerns. They were very well versed in all aspects of the law as far as our case was concerned. I would highly recommend them.
