I hired this law firm for my divorce case back in 2023 for my divorce. The case was closed in 2024. Here we are in 2025 and I’m receiving phone calls from Collection agencies, stating that I still owe a balance to them when the case has been closed since last year. The collection agency told me that they reached out to the attorneys office over 11 times and never got a response back. I was informed to get a receipt of the payments I made from the attorneys office and when I went to their physical location, I drove around in circles, trying to find the building, I never found it so I eventually called their office and the operator questioned me asking my name several times telling me that I can retrieve the documents off-line out of my portal. I explain to her that there was no billing information available, and I would like to pick up a physical copy of my receipts. The operator told me to contact the collector because they are the ones I needed to speak with, after that, I was hung up on so after being hung up on, I continue to drive around and search for their physical location once I found the building that they were supposedly doing business out of it looked as if it was abandoned. Which is why I was never given directions and eventually hung up on. This sad and very unprofessional to say the least. They don’t even have a physical office you can go into. I would have been better off representing myself instead of being scammed by this law firm.
