Amy listened to my issues and concerns and helped build a parenting and placement plan that allowed me to spend the most time with my child. We did some outside the box thinking and even now years later the plan has stayed put and both parents are reaping the benefits of what we put in place which was best for my child. Beware of this attorney, she is about only making money she is not about family law or the benefits of your family or children. My ex-wife just used her and apparently told me some of the things that this attorney told her to do against me. We decided that we didn’t want to use any attorneys but my ex-wife had already given her a deposit to start at some point we decided we were only going to use her to help us with the paperwork so that we can file it in the courts. During the process several times Amy Shapiro made it very evident that she didn’t like me and quite frankly acted like a greedy attorney. She made over $6000 for basically doing nothing. If you are looking for a family attorney because you are concerned about your family during the divorce process do not pick Amy Shapiro! She’s completely old-school and uses fear tactics on her clients several times she tried to basically leave me high and dry. At the end she showed her true colors by telling my ex-wife that she didn’t have to give me any part of our tax returns because it came in her name only accidentally. My name is Lazarus Bonilla and my Xwife is Lanette Eastland. Thank you Amy Shapiro for showing your true colors throughout the whole process. I would’ve never wrote this review had my ex-wife not told me just now what you told her to do with our tax returns.
