Hired Alan and had the best experience and representation . Results were amazing and divorce cases and modifications are never fun but he was a huge help and now 20 years later my children use him . I hired Mannheim to handle my divorce many years ago. He charged me $10,000. Once he had my money, weeks went by without hearing from him. I contacted his office and told him that I was not happy with the way he wasn’t handling my case properly and I would like my money back so I could hire a different attorney. He then started making excuses and said that he would keep me advised on what was happening from then on. After that, my ex husband had a scheduled weekend visitation from which he failed to return my 4 yr old. I called the police, and they started looking for my son. One week later I found out that Mannheim filed (without my knowledge) to dismiss my divorce case, stating that we were cohabiting and back together!! This was a LIE!! I found out much too late that this person is a complete FRAUD! Afterwards, my ex husband moved my son over 1000 miles away and ruined me as a person. I will never be the same! My family was ripped apart due to the incompetence of this person.

Attorney Alan Manheim was the worst worst attorney I ever hired, he did not keep me a prized about what he was filing, demanded all his money upfront, he did not keep me informed as a client, couldn’t get a hold of him, broke client confidentiality, as a client he did just a overall bad job, he took 7500.00 and spent it and did not get any real results that helped me in anyway shape or form, he told me everything I wanted to here as a client in need of legal services, once I paid him it was like a week later my retainer was basically all gone, he is a shake down artist, to make matters even worse I’m a disabled handicapped person and I was forced and have no options but to file bar complaints as a result I fired him and asked for all my money back, he told my credit card company straight up lies about his representation and the services he alleged he did for me as a client so “please do not retain or even think about hiring Atty Alan Manheim of Marietta Georgia for any legal services whatsoever.” So even to this day he is still working on my appeal case and Atty Alan Manheim is still trying to charge me for more services, he is a not a good person or a good lawyer DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY HE IS THE WORST LAWYER I EVER HIRED!!! I’m going to file another bar complaint and I have reported him to the district attorney, he is not a good attorney, he should not be practicing as a attorney because he has done this to other clients he is a habitual offender check him out on the Georgia Bar Association he was disbarred for not keeping appropriate records (like he did to me) Atty Alan Manheim received a insurance settlement payment in his escrow account from his clients and he never told his clients what the actually settlement was and or how much and refused to give his clients the insurance settlement information!!!!! After multiple agencies investigating Atty Alan Manheim still refused to work with the authorities and he was looking at criminal charges and possible indictment and even the Atty. Alan Manheim didn’t even give the Georgia Bar Association the information once he was under investigation he refused p, after all that he was inevitable disbarred. I’m going to do whatever I can to make sure that other clients do not become victims of this attorney and his shake down tactics and get taken advantage of!!!! PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE GO TO THE GEORGIA BAR ASSOCIATION AND REVIEW HIS HISTORY BECAUSE THERE IS MANY OF US!!!I STARTED A BLOG AND I HAVE OVER A DOZEN OTHER VICTIMS!!
